Killer Shrews.This older horror film was a bit of a low budget film from 1959 and while the acting was okay, the cheap budget really harmed the film’s quality. The premise was a large mutant horde of giant shrews was loose on an island and attacked our heroes, because the shrews were hungry for everything, including humans. The giant shrews were dogs with fake giant teeth and horribly glued hair pieces, making the dogs look like a bad Halloween at Petsmart.It was funny to see the “killers” swarm and kill their victims, imagine a friendly dog circling a ‘victim” looking more startled than crazed and hungry.Other times you couldn’t but laugh at the stuffed or puppet dogs.The survivor’s escape?Yep, those killer shrews were no match…

I like these:THEM! - Giant ants. This is one of the first creature features and has a very good performance from James WhitmoreTarantula - Directed by Jack Arnold. A scientific experiment goes very wrong and a giant tarantula terrorizes a town. Features a very young Clint Eastwood as one of the pilots that takes down the creature.The Incredible Shrinking Man - Excellent movie that features a man who is sprinkled with a glittering dust from a passing cloud and begins to shrink in size. It does have a giant spider in it.Eight Legged Freaks - Why, yes there are giant spiders in this one. Lots of them. One of my favorite movies for good, cheesy fun.Big Ass Spider - need I say more?Tremors - no spiders, just a giant graboid monster in the desert. Great performances by Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward.Jurassic Park and Jurassic World - Dinosaurs so real you think you can touch them in and the latter one Chris Pratt.
