Is King Of The Hill Funny

Funniest King of the Hill quotes!!?

I'll give three. They all involve Bobby:

"Six o'clock in the morning and already the boy ain't right." -- Hank

"There better be a naked cheerleader in here!" -- Hank, discovering a cheerleader uniform that Bobby brought home for a Home Ec assignment

"I think you will find that I have no testicles." -- Peggy, successfully resisting Bobby's "That's my purse!" self-defense tactic

Who is the funniest king of the hill character?

Cotton Hill. And I can back this up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jjut_L8osRE

Poll - Is King of the Hill Funny - Yes or No?

I thought it was alot funnier in the early seasons and also when Hank had become unaware how out of touch with reality he is.

Now the show worships Hank's warped view of reality and Bobby is normal. Boooring.

Also Luanne being pregnant for 2 seasons and not even gonig up one pant size is a bit much. Are artists really that lazy these days? Shes like a bizaro Joe's Wife on Family guy.

Oh snap, this is hard. My favorite thing about KOTH is that a lot of its comedy relies on character development. The entire series is actually BETTER watching the second time around because you begin to pick up on the little subtle jokes that make the series that much better.I honestly like almost every single episode that focuses on how clueless Peggy Hill is.Ho Yeah! where she unknowingly befriends a hooker. The Peggy Horror Picture Show where she unknowingly befriends a transvestite.Lupe’s Revenge where she accidentally abducts a Mexican girl from Mexico and she has to explain to a judge and jury (in Spanish) that it was all a mistake.Peggy’s Headache where she finally finds out that Nancy has been cheating on Dale for over a decade.

Which King of the Hill character do you think is the funniest?

I just want to say I really don't have one and it is hard for me to pull out a single character that I think is funnier than the rest. I've laughed at each of the characters multiple times over the years including this past season. I think the reason is this show has done an excellent job of staying fresh over the years and giving all it's characters ample screen time. Also, it doesn't fall into the Simpsons dilemma of focusing almost all it's stories on a single character or having that said character (Homer) playing a pivotal role in each episode. Sure, Hank is in almost every episode of King of the Hill, but the writers don't try to put the same wait on Hank's character as the Simpson's writers do with Homer.

Is the programme "King Of The Hill" supposed to be funny?

hi Alberich! that's an enticing question, for particular - a "Depressant Opera" - what a idea! properly, the opera that continually makes me experience gray and gloomy for a lengthy time period afterwards is Purcell's hauntingly acceptable "Dido and Aeneas." suitable from the starting up, the spectre of doomed love infects the song...even the Overture is gray and depressing! in spite of the undeniable fact that the issue that continually bothers me the most is the very incontrovertible fact that acceptable Dido finally ends up topping herself contained in the call of love - stabbing herself contained in the middle! What a grisly thanks to flow. And to boot, what guy (or woman) is properly worth lack of life for??? fortuitously there is a few easy relief contained in the type of the unabashedly camp Sailor's Dance, and the cacklingly humorous "Hahahahaha" Witches chorus...otherwise, i imagine i'd prefer to go away the opera homestead and end all of it, too... My first adventure of "Dido and Aeneas" replaced into in college, even as i replaced into 14, and our song classification staged a performance. I keep in mind feeling quite depressed for days afterwards...yet perchance it replaced into because I had quite a hero-worship difficulty for the captivating instructor (who performed the function of the doomed Dido, and staged an quite fantastic suicide.) wager I had quite a topic isolating fantasy from fact lower back in at the moment... King of the Hill is about a family of three in Arlen, Texas (Which is near Houston) and their day to day life with day to day problems. Its an animated Situational Comedy and the main character is Hank Hill, a propane salesman and family man who is generally the voice of reason throughout most plot-lines but is, like any person, imperfect and makes mistakes at times.People who have never seen the show will tell you it is about political and social issues - its not. Its about a regular family man living his life with plot-lines likeMeeting his half brotherBeing passed up for a temporary promotion when he is better suitedHelping his son grow rosesHelping his neighbors financially during a crisisPreparing for the Millenium (The year 2000)Other characters also have their own issues to face, but they are all definitively within the realm of reality and not meant to be taken as large statements on political or social issues. The episodes MAY include everything in our day to day society such as prostitution and cross dressers, but never does the show make any moral stands on any of it - its simply how normal people interact with these different aspects of life, like being surprised to discover a housemate is a prostitute and wanting her to move out because it is a crime (And not reporting a crime is illegal).Think of Seinfeld, then think of something actually funny, then mix those two things together and you have King of the Hill

Does anyone think king of the hill is really funny?

I love that one where Hank's friends give Dale a job and hank pretends to be Mr. Big and he makes him get a briefcase and Dale fight off a guy and out of no where hes like.. "Pocket Sand!" and runs away with the briefcase. That was so hillarious and random!

Have you ever laughed at King of the Hill?

I don't laugh out loud. More like chuckle silently in my mind while I reminisce about the lunch I had that day.

I like it though at times. Mainly because of their portrayal of super liberal, left-wing nuts.
