Is Krabi-phuket Save To Visit In February Thailand

I am going to Krabi in Thailand in February on a tight budget. Should I see Phuket also?

I hate Phuket. It is just tooo touristy and everything is so crazy expensive. The islands are beautiful though. Krabi, if you like scuba diving then do not forget to check Similan island out. It is WORTH every penny. So, if yoy like to save some money and spend on something else then you should probably skip Phuket. Krabi offers you more or less nice beaches/islands like Phuket but cheaper price tag and not so touristy. PS. I am Bangkokian

Which is the best month to go to Phuket and Krabi?

November to February is the best time to visit Phuket and Krabi, Thailand. This is the best season in Phuket after the rains are over. With the best weather, naturally, this is also the busiest time with most tourists planning their trips around this period. The temperature varies around 23°C and 30°C. While December is the coolest month in Phuket, February is the driest. This is the perfect time to spend the day relaxing on one of the gorgeous beaches in Phuket and enjoying water sports in the calm sea. You can then party it out till the wee hours of the morning at one of the many nightclubs.Want to more information visit: www.parbhattravels.com

I am going on a phuket, krabi 7 days trip with my wife. Should I hire a taxi for transfers and roaming around or hire a car from airport and drive by myself?

The mode of transfers mostly depend upon the location of your accommodation. If your hotel in the busy city then taxi is the most appropriate and cheap in Thailand. And if your accommodation is nearby some places you want to visit then you can also go by foot so that you can also get up and close with the culture as well as people of the city. Nevertheless taxis are the best as well as cheap in Thailand and you should drop the idea of driving by yourself as you would end up navigating all the time and you wont be able to enjoy by yourself. For more you can even write us to at bookings@justorbit.com.

How should I plan honeymoon package to Phuket and Krabi in November 2016?

I had gone on my honeymoon to krabi and bkk recently in February 2016 (3 months ago!). And trust me its a great idea to plan on your own.Flights:1. Discounts-Keep a close eye on the discounts and offers on  Makemytrip and yatra. And book tickets well in advance. ( I usually prefer MMT, they come up with discounts which are particular bank debit/credit card specific) use those deals, they help you save a lot.2. Cheaper routes-India to Bangkok - cheapest flights are from Kolkata. There are 2 airports in bangkok. When you travel from india to bangkok you ll be arriving at suvarnabhumi airport. To fly to krabi, air asia flies from another airport -don mueong (DMK). Avail the free shuttle service from Suvarnabhumi to DMK.Once you reach Krabi, taxis might try to lure you. But i would suggest go for a bus booking. All you need to do is prepay for the bus at krabi airport (150 thb per person) and show your hotel booking to the counter and driver. They drop you right at the hotel. Same stands for coming back to airport too. Book it from any of the tour operaters.3. Luggage PolicyTo avoid extra payment hustle at airport, do check whether you have bought enough luggage allowance while booking online.Visa:Visa on arrival.Make sure you carry a pen :)Carry passport size photos with you else they ask you to click them at the airport, charging additional 200 thb per person.Visa charges are 1000 thb. The process is usually smoothAccomodation:KRABI - Again keep looking for good deals online while booking. We had stayed at Marina fisherman bay for 2 days and then moved to Krabi Resort! Both were awesome. The trick is to go for a cheaper accomodation for the days you know you wont be spending at hotel. There are full day activities like Island Hopping.BANGKOK:You can stay near any metro station. We stayed in sukhumvit area. Its a good idea to keep a map of the trains from google with you. Travelling by train is more advisable in bangkok rather than a taxi. Its comfortable and easy ride. You may use buses too. The bus drivers and the localites are very kind and helpful.PS - We never used any taxis there! :)FoodEnjoy the local food. If you are a seafood lover, you ll have a gala time. If vegetarian, i have seen many veg restaurants too!PS - Must try Coconut Vanila Icecream (thank me later!)Random tip-- Get some buns/drinks/ready-to-eat items from 7-11 shops around.- Bargain as much as possible while shopping or making any bookings! :D- Do shop from bangkok - platinum mall esp!!
