Avatar: The Legend of Korra?

i think that they want to separate the show more from the last airbender, which they have done really well. also, they dont have to deal with so much back story like what happened to kataras mother, how appa got away, how aang got in the iceberg, so on and so forth. but i think that they did a good job of creating more speculations and questions that can be explained over a longer period of time, while having a faster pace than the last airbender did. i mean i loved the 1st series, but in some ways, they could have gone faster although they made an insane job on the story and development of the series. the only knock on it i have so far, but i think theyll get around to is being confined to only 2 places. i mean its been a good 6 episodes and the only places the story has taken place in is the north pole and republic city. i get that they dont have a flying bison in which they can travel wherever they want on command, i would think it would make it a lot more interesting for them to move from place to place. instead of having her learn all of the elements, she will only have to learn one, but the main focus will be more of mastering the spiritual aspect of being an avatar and learning how to use the avatar state.

What is a good website to watch 'Avatar- The Search' and 'Avatar-The Legend of Korra'? I tried Kissmanga and Kissanime, but they are not there.

Why are the towns in Legend of Korra look so "modern"?

of course you're implying that you think the technological advancements that occurred in that time frame are unrealistic and 70 years is too short for such improvements, but I think 70 years IS enough.
take a real life example
In the 1870's the overwhelming majority of the US population lived in rural communities and worked in agriculture. there were no paved roads, people traveled in horse carriages, etc.
In the 1930's (70 years later) the majority of the US population lived in urban environments, they moved from the country into the city. a boom of electrical appliances and gadgets has occurred (radios, tv, refrigerators, etc.), cars were made afforded by henry ford's model T, etc.
you'd be surprised what could happen in 70 years. it's alot more than you'd think.
