Is working a waste of your life?
Working for others - Yes! Working for yourself - No!When you work for others you help achieve other people dreams and goals. So you are wasting all your life and time. Yes, you get paid. But what’s the point? Money isn’t so valuable. You are living other people plan not yours. Most valuable thing ever is your TIME! Sometimes seems people have forget it.However when you work for yourself you don’t waste your time. You live your own plan. You are doing things for yourself. Do what you love in your life!Then you ask “ But why then everyone don’t work for themselves?”Because it’s easier to work for others. It’s not so challenging. You just do the job and you get paid.Life structure for most of people is - Go to school - go to college - get job (most of time working for others ) - working rest of their lives - create family - die.You know you have the power to change it and build your own life structure! Think outside of the box!I think you could work for others only for one reason - to make a living while you are working on your own thing at the beginning.And if you go work for others for some time, search the job that’s is related to your passion, dream. The job from you can learn things that will help you to build your own thing!You work full time on your job. Part time on your own thing.When you earn from your part time thing as much as you earn from your full time job change it.Work Part time on your full time job and part time of your own thing. When you earn 2x more in your own part time thing then job leave the job and live your passion full time rest of your life!
Is working at a job a waste of life?
A few people commented about staying in school or getting a College Degree... Well, I HAVE a 4 year degree in Communication Arts. It cost me $48,000 in debt to earn this degree. Going to college is WORTHLESS today in 2011... There ARE NO JOBS that pay over $10 per hour anymore. Even if you do go to college, you end up with so much debt it will take you 25 years to pay off. Your Graduating from college with a MORTGAGE payment in student loans. So Going to school does nothing more than keep the schools in business. It does NOT help you get a job. The only way to get a "Good Job" is if you KNOW someone or have family members who can pull strings for you. Otherwise, your just like everyone else, a slave for hire that will be lucky to make $10 per hour.
What are the signs that you are wasting your life?
You wake up and don't rush into anything and spend time with your phone in the bed.You say Yes to all the plans, you are asked for.You see a birthday notification of a friend on FB and think I will wish him later, because obviously you have all day to go.You keep on watching same random songs, standup videos and other stuff on YouTube.You check your phone more often than anything else.Sundays and Holidays, No more excite you.You open and close WhatsApp just to see no new messages.You spend enormous time scrolling Instagram and FB feeds.Finding difficulty in getting sleep at night because afternoon nap ended a bit longer.Seeking validation from more people than required.Trying to argue and fight over internet posts.Not getting an answer to the question of What to do next, in the middle of the day.Lastly, going to bed with a regret that I have wasted yet another day.Life is short my friend. Make each second count.
Life feels like a waste of time to me?
It is no more your fault that your friend died than it is others fault you have made such horrible choices not the least of which is choosing to let your past rule you and turn to drugs to stay numb. Easy for me to say? Not even close, I was beaten and psychologically tortured for a major portion of my young life. I made your choices until I realized how bad off and just bad I was. I kicked Meth. my past and all the things I lost in the process like my wife, kids, home and I got not only better but in a pretty great place. The point of living is to do the best you can not to give in because it's been tough. I speak from experience. Choose!
How do you live an extraordinary life?
You just do it. Reaching 50 now and I have traveled the world. You just do it. The corporate world has convinced you that certain things are true that just are not. Society has defined success for you and you have not asked yourself what success means for you. In the end, you and I are going to end up in the exact same place. The real question is, what things are you planning on doing between now and then that are going to make you feel like your life was worth living. You don't have the job you want. Walk in and demand it. You don't get it, sell your skills to someone else. To hell with them if they do not appreciate you. Know your own value. Seriously, start looking into overseas employment. Contract jobs with support services for the military are awesome positions to have. Even teaching English can open quite a few doors. In short, figure out how you define success and do it. You do not have the position you want because you have not put yourself 100% into getting it. If it is what you really want, make it the most important thing in your life and go for it. If not, admit it, back off, and figure out what happiness actually means to you. You are where you are because you have chosen to be there. You got comfortable there. You have been comfortably stagnating for years. Content with paying bills, going out when you can, buying a car, and simply living the "normal" life. Life is never normal when you are chasing a dream.
Why do people think life is a waste?
What we hear from people:"Grass is always greener on the other side"What we tell people:"But if we take time to water our grass. it would be just as green"What we don't realize:There are people whose grass could never be green, because Their water is stolen. Worst case, Their grass field,itself, is robbed.Greedy people take away in excess, depriving common people of their resources, leaving them poor and helpless.What least do we expect them to say? LIVE AND LET LIVE has become myth.Crimes everywhere. Hard work is looted. Honesty is never rewarded.Poor are getting Poorer day by day. And nobody comes to save.WHERE IS HOPE THEN!!!?
I want to end my life. I can't stand being poor anymore.?
I spend 60 dollars on the mega millions tickets and I can barley afford to buy ten of them but I did it anyway because I am desperate. I'll starve for a few weeks but I really thought I would have won. I only got 3 right which means i only "won" seven bucks. I'm 18 years old and very depressed to the extent that I really do not want to live anymore. I really can't stand living in poverty. I never wasted money before in my life but I really though that I was gonna win, no joke. well now everything is hopeless. i wish i could have money and be wealthy. I am sick of tiny apartments living in and the city pollution. I want to end my life now....my mother keeps saying "i'm sorry you didn't win, I know you wanted to more than anyone". well anyway i am the most depressed i have been pretty much my entire life...i know this is dreaming but I immediately wish I could live in a big house by myself in the suburbs. i hate that thought because i know its not possible. i am sick of being poverty stricken. i want to end.....
