Why does Trump only use Obama for comparison and not another president?
Because Obama is almost everything Trump wants people to think of himself.Obama’s family had very limited financial resources, unlike Trump who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth.Obama’s father gave him nothing (except good IQ genes). Trump’s father gave him hundreds of millions, a reputation of a wealthy person, and bailed him out of his financial problems many times.Obama legitimately got into Ivy League schools whereas Trump’s father almost certainly bought Donald’s way into UPenn from Fordham.Obama is a reader, thinker, doer. Trump is too lazy for those things.Obama won the majority of the vote 2 times. Trump got in because of our ridiculous electoral college despite his opponent getting 3 million more votes.Obama by any measure is a great family man (think family values) who is devoted to his wife and children. Trump wasn’t devoted to any of his wives or his children, although he does seem to like Ivanka.Obama was respected in the world. Yes, Putin hated him because he saw Putin for who he was and dealt with him “strongly”. But Putin respected him. Assad of Syria respected Obama. He used chemical weapons once during Obama and then never again after the deal was made to get rid of their stockpile - and he was warned that if he did it again then there would be hell to pay (and Obama wasn’t a blow hard who made empty threats). Assad only used chemical weapons again after Obama was out and Trump was in. Then he used them multiple times. Trump is respected by no one - except some white supremacists and people who are brainwashed by Fox, Alex Jones, and the like.Obama came into office during the Great Recession and presided over a massive rebound while making the country more environmentally sustainable. Trump came into office with the economy humming and grew our national debt while helping kill the planet.Trump is obese. Obama appears to be in great shape.
