Depends on your resolution and refresh rate. If you are playing at 1080p, and play at high settings(not ultra), then the CPU will bottleneck in some games, since the GTX 1070 will deliver 144+ FPS in some games at 1080p, but the CPU is not capable of pushing 144 FPS, so the GPU will be bottlenecked. However, if you play at 1440p high or 1080p ultra settings, then in most games the GPU will not get bottlenecked.In either case, you will easily get 60 FPS, so if you have a 60 Hz monitor, you can go with this pair, though I would highly recommend getting 16 GB RAM, it does make a difference.If you have a high refresh rate monitor, with refresh rate greater than 100 Hz, then an Intel CPU would be a better choice, especially an overclockable one, because they can push higher FPS in more games than AMD CPU’s(hence they are titled to be better for gaming - of course, they are better only in a very specific case that applies to only a tiny fraction of the gamer market).I would also recommend you to try to get a 6-core CPU. Because the 2400G is a four core CPU, it does not have as long a life left, as games are now moving to six cores for smooth performance, so an 8th gen Intel i5 or an AMD Ryzen 5 1600(or higher) would be recommended for a high-end GPU like the GTX 1070. Someone else found a Titan X for $600, in fact, here’s one right here.Currently the graphics cards are not much cheaper than other resellers or shops (eBay, Amazon) but you can still find awesome deals on other things. I’ve heard of people getting GTX 470s for under $20. There’s 4GB sticks of RAM for $16. You could literally get a decent system for under $300 if you did all of your shopping on CeX and built it yourself.But, sometimes parts are low in stock (if you search for very specific parts like an i3–8100, which currently there are one of), so if you see one grab it quickly.

Overlocking is way too much bad in this card it gets hot.2 :- Zotac Gtx 960 and AMP edition is less pricy compared to other companies BUT also have major NEGATIVE things. First the FAN design is so ridiculously BAD and make noise that i can hear in other room. Fan WONT stop in low temp or below a limit. its running 24*7. Having a backplate is good, card is small. Overclocking is NOT made for this card.3 :- Gigabyte 960 its has 3 fans !!! what 3 fan YES and the fans not run until a certain temp. or a limit. Fans looks ok by design but again it create too much noise in 100%.Overclocking is NICE in this card, it also has a backplate with a Funck LED lighting.4 :- ASUS 960 it is the CHEAPEST 960 in whole market and THIS comes with a NEGATIVE things that are the cooler is cheaper Aluminum, Strix Fans are just BAD it is a RE-BRANDED TWIN FROZR IV. Good thing is card is small and have a backplate and come with a HIGHEST memory clocks. ALSO THIS card also wont stop while idling or under a limit. OVERCLOCKING is bad gets heat fast.5 :- MSI Gaming 960, 960 1 ME edition, This time MSI came with ALLROUNDER, Cooler is nice not cheap, Fans Design Awesome, only 4gb and 1 me edition have backplates but this card is THE OVERCLOCKERS DREAM and fans keep stopped until u hit 60 degrees. it also come with funky leds.
