Ask her. You are her mother; you have every right to ask her. Look for clues. If her boyfriend loves her, perhaps he is willing to wait unlike these snakes who date girls just to bed them. My daughter is 17 years old. She and I don't see each other very often because of my work schedule, so she is home alone quite a bit. (Her father isn't around) or so I thought she was home alone? Last night when I came I saw she was asleep on the coach. I noticed she was wearing what looked like men's underwear and also a shirt that was way too big on her and I had never seen either of those either before last night. I'm assuming they belong to her boyfriend. I went in her room and her drawers and saw she has 3 more pairs of his underwear. Does this mean she has been having sex with him? They have been together for 3 years and he's also 17 if that's helpful. I didn't worry about them having sex before because my daughter is a straight A student and she's a very good respectable teenager. But nowi think I was just foolish an in denial. I don't want to confront her about it until I know for sure they're having sex. And if I find out they are I don't know what I will do.

My daughter's boyfriend's mother called me and told me she caught my daughter doing oral sex on her son. I was shocked. My daughter is a great, responsible teenager. I even remember them wanting to get married when they where in 1st grade Its not that surprising really.. I was just stupid to not expect this.. I mean with them being together all the time and they just hit puberty. But the worst part is that they got caught having sex at school. By another student(10 years old).. The parents of that kid blame me(and the school) for letting it happen.. But that aside, I don't want to break them obviously. The part you’re missing is that just about anyone at any given time could be having sex. You wouldn’t even know it. Then again, how many of us owe our very existance to such things?!! However, I’d say you’re NOT crazy for thinking your daughter and her boyfriend are not having sex. Unforunately, just because you THINK they’re not having sex doesn’t mean they’re not having sex right now as you read this.It wasn’t a matter of being crazy. It was a matter of being accurate beyond doubt. Even though the “you’re crazy” thought of your husband has the info to back it up (right in your own question “they spend lots of time together”), that doesn’t mean you’re wrong.You CAN attempt to go find out. That idea, of course, has its share of concerns too!! Asking them, spying on them, and basically any other method I could think of has too much potential to leave you in an awkward or outright bad situation!!So the recommendation is to trust your gut and leave it be until it becomes absolutely needed to do otherwise. Beyond that, you can always attempt to talk to her about sex to try to make sure she knows what all she’s getting into. I wouldn’t press or appear aggressive about the matter though. Just tell her you’re not concerned about what all they’re doing. It’s NOT your problem. But you’d feel better as long as she KNOWS what all she’s getting into. Banging them together to produce a sound can provide lot of entertainment to the child. Squeky Squeaky toys also interests them.

When my kids were that age, I cleaned out the bottom compartment of my China cabinet and filled it with all the extra pots, spoons, lids, etc. and told the kids that was their kitchen. They were welcome to go in there whenever I was in the kitchen and pull out, play with, bang on, anything in there. It kept them amused while I was busy with sharp and hot stuff. They were also allowed to go in there whenever they didn't lik their other toys, and they did. We also saved gift boxes and especially appliance boxes for them to play with. Also blocks, Duplo sets, Lincoln Logs, and Tinkertoys are great for just banging around, and when the creative urge strikes, they can be made into whatever you can imagine.I highly recommend finding all the unbreakable junk in your house and setting her up with it in a special play area that you can talk up as "just hers." She won't consider it junk at all, and you can save your tv remote, shoes, and fragile items from her depredations. Swimming is probably a good call, too, as is just plain running around outside and screaming, if you have a fenced yard I highly recommend it.

My mom found out when I was 17 also. She read some of my texts. She took me to the gyno because I had never been to one yet. I was put on birth control. I have never had an STD test. I have only slept with one guy though, my boyfriend of now 4 yrs (I'm 20). I would not tell her you read her diary, just talk to her. Maybe she will tell her. If she knows you will not punish her or get upset she might tell you. I lied to my mom because I knew I would get in trouble and of course when she found out I didn't see my boyfriend for 3 weeks, which didn't do anything.
