Is My Gtx Evga Gtx 680 Overheating

Do I need to worry about the EVGA superclocked GTX 770 overheating?

All air cooled graphics cards have fans and heatsinks - over time the fans blow enough dust into the heatsinks for them to clog up - as the dust builds up it gets harder and harder for the fans to do their work until eventually the graphics card gets so hot it stops working.
So for now, no it won't overheat but you have to maintain it. Better still, prevention is better than cure - use fan grills on the case fans and tape up any gaps so that dust can't get in. Use blanking plates for the unused PCI holes.
My GTX 680 ran at 22 degress when I purchased it 6 months ago and now its running at 27-30 degrees. It will get hotter in a shorter period of time the longer I leave it. I'll leave it for a few more months and then take the heatsinks off and blow the dust out with compressed air and reapply the heatsink with thermal paste.

HIS HD 7970 IceQ X² Turbo 3072MB vs EVGA 680 gtx 4gb classified?

Depends upon the specific game title.

Some games are coded so they get higher fps with AMD cards- for example Arma II, Stalker CoP and Metro 2033. Other titles get higher fps with Nvidia cards, like Batman Arkham City, Borderlands 2 and Total War Shogun 2. Some like Battlefield 3 are basically neutral. Some games are very heavily optimized towards one architecture or the other, like Skyrim (AMD) or Starcraft 2 (Nvidia).

Far Cry & Far Cry 2 were historically more of Nvidia-friendly titles. But I' not sure if Far Cry 3 is.... you'd want to check benchmarks for the specific game and resolution.

Personally I'd take the 4GB GTX 680 over the IceQ X 7970 because Nvidia cards have lower noise, heat & power consumption, PhysX support and most important, better drivers. As far as stock cards go, the HD 7970 seems to edge the GTX 680 on raw fps, but there's more to it.

I think the highest-end card showdown brought up points which are relevant one level down, too.

*** Update ***

Just found benchmarks for Far Cry 3... the GTX 680 is slightly better than the HD 7970.

How many Bitcoins can I mine in one day with an NVIDIA GTX 670 graphics card?

What a question, do you want someone to hold your hand too? You can see how many Bitcoins you can mine in one day with an NVIDIA GTX 670 graphics card and chew up a years worth of electricty or you can join the big boy and invest in cloud mining. Mining Bitcoin is not something you want to try and shortcut on, as you will lose a lot of money, quickly. Do it properly or not at all! Cloud mining makes the whole process simple, so you don't need any techie knowledge to mine, you invest in a profitable enterprise and choose your coins to mine, and reap the reward. If you want to get serious about financial independence and grown-up investing that will be lasting and viable, try genesis-mining, minergate or even Hashflare and see the difference between the return on income you get, versus your jury-rigged bedroom mining. Want no electricity costs or upkeep on hardware? Want flexibility? Want a fast profit that will increase? Cloud mining gives you that. You can diversify from Bitcoin and try other altcoins that are making a name for themselves, and you'll make serious bank. I get 14000 a month income just from cloud mining Bitcoin, Monero, Dash, Eth and a few others using all three services I mentioned. Of course I built it up over time, but not as long as you might think- it took maybe 6-8 months of reinvesting to get to that level.I still don't know all the tech side of cloud mining, beyond the basics and I don't need to. I can focus on other things like learning about cryptomarkets, finding new ICOs that look promising, and of course the freedom that my income gives me to travel and enjoy a freer lifestyle away from my desk. Really you have two choices, you can keep trying to cut corners and make your own living as a solo miner, but it will take a very long time. Or, just invest in a safe, regulated and stable cloud mining op for immediate income and no upkeep headaches. You'll mine many more Bitcoins in one day than with your NVIDIA GTX 670 graphics card melting from overuse!

Why is my gtx 680 having high idle temps?

Hello i have an evga gtx 680 classified. I have NOT overclocked it, and in short im getting high idle temps.

My card is idling around 40c which i've read should be closer to 35 or 30. When looking at msi afterburner the line is constant at 40c and not going down at all. Is there some reason to this? I did a bit of research and have found little reasons as to why this is. My drivers are up to date, etc. I do not have any aftermarket coolers or anything on the gpu.

Is the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480 still a good graphics card in 2018?

Not if you're looking to run the newest games. What makes it an inferior card is the amount of VRAM available compared to modern mid-range GPUs like the GTX 1060.An eight year difference between release dates also makes a difference, especially in technology. Take my own GPU as an example (GIGABYTE GTX 1060 3GB Windforce 2x OC); it has about double the VRAM at about double the clock speed (higher due to overclocking) and it requires half the power (600w minimum required for the GTX 480 according to the nVidia website). My current setup, with monitor, fans, etc. is estimated to consume about 340w with everything operating at maximum, including the GPU.While the GTX 480 may be able to run a few games, it really falls short with anything modern.

Can I upgrade this desktops graphic card to a gtx 690 or a Amd radeon 7970?

GTX 690: Requires minimum of a 650 Watt power supply, plus 2 available 8-pin PCI-E power dongles

Your PC has 700W PSU, make sure that it has 2 8-pins ready to use and you're good to go..

Edit:
A simple guide ..
If you don't know the pins, You need 2 of ( http://www.playtool.com/pages/psuconnectors/pcie8.jpg ) coming out from your power supplier to the graphics card, you plug the card in your PCI-E slot and you connect the 2 pins, run your pc and install the drivers..
