Is my hair bra strap length?
I just got my hair done at the salon like two days ago and I notice my hair looked a little longer, it comes just above my bra strap, almost touches it, so is my hair bra strap length? I hear many people online say what bra trap length is, like some say its on your bra strap or slightly above it or underneath, so which is it?
Shoulder length hair to bra-strap length?
So,my hair used 2 be pretty long but I got layers in it and it takes like FOREVER 2 grow back.It's just a little past my shoulder now,and I am taking Biotin.I'm not really trimming it since hair normally grows 1/2 an inch a month without being cut.But,I'm also straightening and blow-drying it.I wash it every day unless I spend the night with some1.How long should it take my hair to get to bra-strap length?Thanks :)

I've always considered it to be long... that's about where mine is and the girls who cut it say it's long... I think short is anything above the shoulders, medium is shoulder length and a little below... and long is anything past the top of your shoulder blades...

As u mentioned it was long n healthy when you were young seems that by genes u are blessed.See when you want anything you need to do something.You have to take care of it.Apply coconut oil at least thrice a week and when washing out the oil use a mild shampoo and a good conditioner.Secondly use a steamer to steam your hair after application of oil only once a week. This will nourish your hair at the roots.Try avoiding going out in sun or places where your hairs may catch dust. Just keep away when oil is applied.And lastly never trim your hair for the sake of a person who said that when trimmed hairs will grow faster. Thanks n stay blessed.

About how long should it take me to reach bsl length? I have natural hair that kinda sheds a lot, and I have just reached the 2 year mark. My hair has grown since I went natural, but now it just seems like it's not growing at all. I condition and moisturize my hair (probably not as much as I should), but every time I wash and condition my hair, it turns out really really dry... I don't know what I'm doing wrong and I need to find a healthy hair regime. Please help!!
I have fine straight bra-strap-length hair, how do I add volume and body to my hair without any volumizing mousse?
Volumizing mousses can work but some weigh fine hair down, unfortunately. It's really a trial and error kind of thing. Without product for grip, using a brush to get volume probably won't leave you with long lasting volume. There are some cool tricks hairdressers can do to get volume with hair which has more to do with the cut than with styling. Creating shorter pieces under the longer ones up top creates support and cushion which makes for volume. Here are a few techniques I use in the salon. They have to be used judiciously and by someone who knows what they are doing, but they absolutely work.

How can I make my curls (3b, bra-strap length when straightened) look wavy at the root and curly at the ends?
Buy a curling cream; (Deva Curl, Shea Moisture, Amika Curl Corps, Mizani) and a good moisturizing leave-in conditioner. Wash and condition your hair like usual. Before you squeeze all the water out, apply a generous portion of leave-in conditioner to your hair, work it through with your hands, then do the same with the curling cream. Take a wide tooth comb and detangle your hair. After you detangle, gently blot out the excess water in your hair with an old cotton t-shirt. Use the wide tooth comb and style your hair so the waves are at your crown and curls at the end. You can spray your hair with a medium hold spray. Let it air dry or sit under the dryer. When you’re combing the crown, the hair will stretch & kinda straighten out to be more wavy. If it's too straight, push the hair slightly upward to create more of a wave in it versus curl. You want to concentrate the products evenly so you're molding the hair while wet. O hope this helps.

My hair is currently mid-back length/ maybe about 2 inches past my bra strap. How long will it take to get to waist length if my hair grows about 1/2 per month? I'm 5'9 if that makes a difference.

Speed of hair-growth varies. Length that hair grows to also varies, at least partly determined by genetics. (Look at the difference in hair length between greyhounds and afghan hounds.) I grew my hair for over five years, using every “surefire” suggestion for increasing the speed and/or length of growth; it never reached below the upper level of my shoulder blade. [shrug] All you can do is let it grow; it’ll take as long as it takes.
