I don't want to ask him yet

I need to create a name for an Advice Column, Do you guys have any Ideas?

My school is starting a School Newspaper, I've been elected to write in the Advice column. Ironically I need advice on what I should call it. This is for a high school Yearbook as well. I kind of like Mrs.KnowItAll however that one is actually used within a book series.

I am having a baby boy soon, & would love to get advice on the name. The question is to continue family tradition or give him his Own name?

I just want our son to have his own identity. My father and I share the same first name (Samuel), and while he has gone by his first name I have always gone by my middle name.

My Wife loves the meaning of Samuel, but we have been already been calling him "Lennox" as it will be his name either way. Just aren't set on it being first or middle yet.

My name is Osama and I'm not comfortable! need an advice!?

Hi,

I hope that you are doing well.
I'm Network Engineer from middle-east (25 years old) and my first name is Osama, basically my name means the son of lion and it's very popular in Arab countries (was considered a nice name), certainly I was born before Bin laden story and the terrorist attacks so parents had no clue that my name would be totally screwed up someday!.

In my country I face no troubles at all because it's normal since millions have the same name, but when I travel or meet foreign people I look weird! , once I met some Americans in my city and told me later (when got used to me) : why not to change your name!? we imagine bad things when hearing your name! .

I'm travelling to USA this year for a training course and I'm really concerned about my name -_- , should I introduce myself as SAM (4 example) all the time!? will I get troubles at airports (for instance) just because of my name?

Actually I'm thinking to change it officially to SAM, but it's a very long story (I have to change Passports/Driving license, certificates. ..etc)

Appreciate your advice!
Knowing that I'm very friendly, peaceful and I look normal :)
thank you.

Social Advice: I got a young woman's name from a credit card receipt. Is it weird to contact her on Facebook?

Sometimes there is a thin line between flirting and stalking... And you just passed this line in a jeep, making two hundred miles per hour, and killed three people while doing it.Never, ever do something like that, not ever. I have sisters and several cousins, and most of them mentioned they have experienced things similar to that, and believe me, they never mention something like this in good humor. Some of them stopped going to their favorite restaurants, one of my friends changed the school of her child because she was scared (though in that case, culprit was rather insistent). What you do is not only not funny, it is actually damaging to that person, when you start to invade people's personal spaces like that, it isn't a nice experience.Never do something like that.

Need advice on this girl I like. I think she might like me too. Could someone help me?

Alright here's some REAL advice from a actual girl. Of she likes you, sadly you have to do these thingsDress Nice, a little cologne won't hurtWalk up to her casually, but before think of what you'd say to start a conversation like ask what are your hobbies, and use words like “speaking of •blank• I do •something related to blank•”Act nice and genuine, if she drops something pick it up, if she give you something say thank you in a really nice way.Stand up for her, but not THAT much to where other people get suspicious (if your a younger age than I thought)Try to become friends, make up excuses to be with her, but do NOT pretend you don't like her if anyone asks just laugh it off and stuff like that or try to change the subjectTry to become friends! Sit next to her and make more excuses to be with her or to sit next to her like “I don't know anyone else here so might as well sit next to you”Be friends for a couple of days.. Maybe you could ask her for her email name or number or social media and a sly way to do this is to be like of you know she has a social media say “I have Snapchat, my names (name) what's yours?” So even if the whole thing doesn't work out you can keep in touch with her the whole summer.

What is some good advice on changing my Christian name?

I think Forsythia is interesting and kind of upper class sounding, yet I don't know what it calls to mind in other cultures. I would get lots of opinions on that before changing the name and ask people to be very frank. Maybe give them six possibilities and ask them to choose the best one so they will feel they can say something positive no matter what they choose. If you ask them to say yes or no they might say yes to be nice and then you learn nothing. A name is very important, I agree with you about that. My name is as common as mud and I have seldom been in a room of people without another Sue or Susan there. The name grates on me, especially the full name. I hate the hissing of the S followed by the buzzing of the Z sound and then the nasal ending. Every time I hear it I remember being called on in class while daydreaming, or hearing one of my parents who was angry with me at the time. At least I no longer have my maiden surname which was full of gutteral consonants. I have though of something musical like Evelyn, but who knows what is best? Changing it seems like a big step.Do you think you will have trouble answering to your new name? I worry about that.

Could you give me advice on brand name, slogan and logo for web development team? Is Uxique a good name?

It's certainly an interesting name. I like the logo design (and as an SF Giants fan, like the colors as well).I think the name will work with some clarifying pronunciation guidance. On first read, I was unsure how to pronounce it. I would recommend pronouncing it U-chic (yoo-sheek), drawing on the sh- sound that "x" makes in Portuguese and some Spanish accents. With that in mind, I would church up the tagline/slogan. Unique experience doesn't make me feel anything. If going with the U-chic pronunciation, try to find something that has a chic feel to it. Make your user feel like you aren't just selling them a unique UX, but a glamorous one--one that will make a statement. Try changing 'experience' from a noun to a verb (ie, Experience Design). A call to action will create a narrative in the audience's mind that will lead them to actually feel something or want to learn more. Don't tell them what you do, invite them to participate.
