Can I use DDR3 or DDR5 graphics card in a DDR2 motherboard?
Yes you can. The DDR3, DDR5 of a graphics card is the VRAM type/version it has. The DDR2 of the motherboard is the main system memory, i.e. RAM, type, not the graphics card memory type. The only thing you need to check is whether or not your motherboard has a PCI-E slot. If it does, you can run all modern graphics cards on that motherboard. You really need to worry more about whether your power supply has the appropriate connectors and wattage for the GPU you're buying. Most motherboards cone with a PCI-E slot, so motherboard-graphics card compatibility usually isn't a problem.Hope this helps. Cheers!
Can I fit a DDR5 graphics card in a DDR4 motherboard?
You are little confused here. DDR4 denotes the speed of ram and DDR5 is for Vram (graphics card memory). The slots are completely separate. DDR5 rams are not yet available for PC.Graphics card fits in PCI Express slot.Ram fits in it's own slot. See the video,So it doesn't matter either the motherboard is DDR3 or DDR4 it will surely accomodate a DDR5 graphics card if it has a PCI-E 3.0 ×16 slot. PCI-E 1.1 or 2.0 are not good for powerful DDR5 graphics cards. But they will also work. So, for your answer, Yes. A DDR4 motherboard is so modern that it will surely support any DDR5 gpu. From GT 710 to TITAN V.Hope it helps!
Can I use this graphic card on my motherboard?
No you cannot, the motherboard only have 1 expansion and it is PCI and not PCIe.
Is my old GeForce GTS 450 graphics card compatible with this motherboard?
Im not sure how else to identify the motherboard other than like this: MCP61PM-HM (SFIS S/N) V0611500F76N1590 or like this: MCP61PM-HM REV:1.0B 15_V06-011021 PCI EXPRESS Everything but PCI EXPRESS sounds like jibberish to me. Im not familiar with all this so could someone tell me if theyre compatible or a way to find out if theyre compatible?
How can I know if a graphics card is compatible with my PC?
GPUs rarely have problems, usually their problems are the processor architecture like x86 and x64. If you still have x86 or 32Bit system, usually it will not work
Intel i7-3770k OR i7-3820 and compatible motherboard?
There is no such thing as "future proof" anymore. LGA 775 made its debut mid 2004 and had a run of about 5 years. LGA 1366 arrived in (roughly) 2009 and by 2011 it was essentially done, being replaced by 1156 in 2010. Less than a year later you had 1155 and 2011. It's 2013 and Socket T (LGA 775), 1366, and 1156 are impossible to come by. Of the 2 CPU's you selected, the 3770K would have more longevity as I doubt the release of any more 2011 even though intel said ivybridge-e would be 2011 compatible. If you really want socket consistency, AMD has been much more reliable with long-term sockets. However, my biggest question to you would be: why are you upgrading in the first place? It's certainly not a slow CPU by today's standards even if you feel like it's getting old. You also wouldn't have any bottleneck issues with a 660ti. I would just upgrade the GPU and save your money until Intel rolls out the next socket.
Will MSI R5670 graphics card run on MS 7168 motherboard?
Could be you simply have a DOA card that needs to be RMA'd... the 5670 is compatible and power isn't an issue (the offical recommendation of 400W is on the high side, it usually works with 350W or greater) Remove the card (does the system have integrated video?) and doublecheck BIOS settings. Maybe something else got bumped out of socket while installing the card, like a motherboard power connector or memory module.
Can I install a 256 bit card on a 128 bit motherboard?
