naomi can be female name and male name in japan. used 2 or 3 characters. means.. nao = add, respect, straight, direct, easygoing...etc. mi = beautiful, fruit, content... etc depends on the combinations. i do know naomi in bible. but naomi is already same as japanese native names now.

Naomi is not Arabic. Muslims names should be in Arabic as on the Day of Judgment one's name would be called aloud as well as who his parents are. I'd rather have a decent Arabic name with a nice meaning as per Hadith from Holy Prophet (SAW)
