Our relationship with Russia starting going downhill from the moment Mitt Romney said Russia was our number one geopolitical foe during the elections. It was all over their news media when that happened. Two, We are allies with Israel, Turkey and few other countries directly getting the brunt of the Syrian civil war. Just imagine if the President didn't say anything at all! He would then be accused of turning his back on our allies. Snowden situation was unfortunate. He has damaged the reputation of the United States forever. This is ironic because most countries do spy on each other. Damn if he does, damned if he doesn't.

You're right. I think one of Obama's big problems is that he CHOOSES to identify as a black man and not as a white man. He's basically rejecting half of his heritage, and this sets him at odds with a large portion of the American public. If he would just identify as an American, he could be a unifier, but he's CHOSEN to be a divider. I personally hope that we do have non-caucasian president sometime soon, just to get it over with so we can move on to important things. I will happily vote for someone, with any skin color, who is qualified, smart, has integrity, and will take the country in a more conservative direction that I agree with, rather than a socialist direction. So obviously, this won't be Obama. "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character." Amen.
Hitler and Obama's body language and use of voice?
I have a presentation in class in a couple of days and i am supposed to talk about Adolf Hitler and Barack Obama's body language and use of voice in their speeches. I think they are both great speakers, but in their own way. Obama seems very confident and really believes in what he is saying (like in the "Yes we can" speech: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fe751kMBwms), and i think it's in many ways the same with Hitler. He is extremely passionate about what he is saying and really shows it through both his body language and voice. Obama uses body language and his voice as well, but in a totally different way (in a much calmer way) - but at the same i think it works too! But I am supposed to talk for 3-4 minutes about this, and there is not much on the internet, so i have to take most of the information out of my own head. I think that's kinda hard! Is there someone out there who can help me here with something else i should talk about? I would greatly appreciate it!!!!! 10 points to the best answer! :) Thank you very much :) (sorry for bad English, btw, it's not my first language)
What is it like to meet Barack Obama in person?
My brother runs a hotel on the island of Anegada (small and remote, even by BVI standards). In early 2017 the Obama family came to BVI on a short holiday. They were staying on Necker Island (a private island owned by Richard Branson), but Barack ended up wandering into the beach bar at the hotel at one point. Sadly I wasn’t there (nor was my brother), but the bar staff said he was just like a very regular guy on holiday. Smiling and having a good time, drunk a couple of beers from the bottle, thanked everyone politely and then got back to his kite surfing or whatever.Everyone knew who he was of course, and there were the secret service guys nearby, but apart from that he was just a normal, friendly American tourist. There were no cameras, nothing for him to prove (he had literally just left office at this time), so I assume that was the real him in terms of personality.

I hate that.Donald is my kind of guy… except that if I had my choice of amazing produce prepared by top notch chefs I’d probably avoid overcooked steak and ketchup, fast food and double helpings of ice cream. Being rich does not necessarily mean one has good taste.Fitness.Yeah, yeah… Obama is sporty, blah, blah, blah.Donald can’t keep up with a group of European leaders strolling along, chatting. He toddled behind on an electric cart, the presidential equivalent of a mobility scooter. He can barely speak without getting puffed out. And those nasal sounds! What up with that!? My kinda guy!Look… Don has pretty much bottomed out in the looks department. Don’t get me wrong… he is still prettier than me, but he’s basically being held together with duct tape, elastic and that big coat he wears. Obama was always in pretty good shape, so the only way was down. Damn him!
Why is Trump allowed to use cell phone and Obama was not?
Obama WAS allowed to use a cell phone. He was a big fan of the blackberry and, after he was elected, he had them make sure it was secure and encrypted and safe so he could use it. And he kept it throughout his presidency.Trump didn’t do any of that, he just kept his unsecured phone because . . . . well, I don’t know why. My best guess is that he doesn’t actually understand what being President means. He’s using the same, unsecured phone he always has, he’s meeting with people in unsecured places like he always has, he’s telling people classified crap to make himself look impressive. He has no idea of the gravity of the job he has. If he did, he might pay a little more attention, and not demand intelligence briefings come to him on a single page because he can’t be bothered to read for more than five minutes.
