Is Obama Even The Best Black President

Why is Obama the best president ever?

you need help in the worst way, first you say he is best because he is black, but he is also white. and you completely ignored that. then you say he is fixing our country by putting us in debt for our grandchildren to pay while he enjoys the good life.
you are being a puppet and letting someone else pull the strings. i prefer to accept facts, like he has put us into another war. a war that we cannot afford to pay for and he wants to be able to spend more money we do not have to sustain his war and the problems he has created by pretending to know what he is talking about.
apparently you are either too young to be working or you would know there are not many jobs to be had. or you are living in a dream world that tells you that the government will answer all your prayers.
OBAMA SUCKS as president. both the white side of him and the black side.

Do Black Americans believe President Obama was a good president for them?

I believe a few black voters and many of the rest of us who love Obama, were somewhat disappointed in his ability to get thing done, that mattered to him. I was not disappointed in him as a person, but rather with the Conservatives, who made such an unscrupulous determination to block every good thing he tried to do. It’s dishonorable to say, “I would rather see America fail, than to see this man succeed.” This was a sharply unpatriotic and childish thing to say. They also pledged to prevent anything suggested by Obama, from passing. What could have been 8 years of progress for America, was almost entirely wasted, through the direct attacks on Obama and our country’s progress. For the first time, I began to suspect that conservatives were interested in lining their own pockets, even at the expense of our nation, and without any concern for the human beings who suffered because of conservative choices.I still love Obama for remaining the gracious, decent, gentleman that he is—and for being a good husband and father. He did not fail us in his own comportment, and he brought no shame to the White House. The shame was in the racism that inspired such vicious blocking of the things Obama otherwise could have achieved.I now believe that many conservatives, if they saw a profit in it, would readily go to another country, cutting all ties with the U.S., if in doing so they would have more money….that is, that they feel no bonds with our nation. Since I noticed this, I have seen further evidences of it, of their ability to put aside human emotion and guide their lives solely by the element of profit. There have been scores of Ponzi scheme criminals, since I started paying attention, who have gotten their own mothers to sell their homes in order to invest in their Ponzi scheme. And when they’re caught, it seems their only emotion is one of anger at being caught.

After President Obama, will America ever elect another black president? If so, what must he/she do differently for history to remember him/her as one of the greatest presidents of all time?

I believe that President Obama will go down in the history books as one of the greatest, most transformative Presidents that the United States of America has ever had. Associated with that legacy will be that he has been a highly controversial President.  Mostly, because he's our first black (he is half white, but is often referred to as black) president, and quite frankly there is still way too much racial prejudice, that exists in the United States, of whites towards black or mixed race people. Europe is well ahead of us in that regard. We have way too many white bigots that haven't yet evolved. Some are still fighting the civil war, some have just had some bad experiences. Keep in mind that the GOP announced, before he was even in office, that they had only one objective... That they were going to make sure that he was a one term president. Well, they obviously failed at that, but they fought him every step of the way. They became known as "the most do nothing congress in history".Based on that, I don't think that another black candidate will get to run for quite a while. That is due to the white American population not being ready for a black or mixed race president. BTW, I am white, but I recognize intelligence and quality. The Obama family has both. When I look at Obama, I see a good "man"! Not black or white.

Was Obama a good president?

Reality is that he's a poor president. History will look back on him with rose-colored glasses simply because he's the first black president.
His only meaningful contribution is preventing another great depression...but he screwed that up by giving those who caused it a free pass to essentially do the same thing again.

He's almost doubled the national depbt
He's made race relations worse
He's made the political divide even worse
He's plowed his way through our bill of rights.
Our trade deal has weakened our economic and industrial power

I'm still very skeptical about his "healthcare reform" since it failed to make healthcare affordable...instead it made it more expensive for everyone else. It would be nice if they actually addressed the reasons why it was so expensive in the first place.
