Why won't people admit abortion is killing a living thing?
I have one basic reason for supporting abortion, its a womans choice whether or not to risk her life to bear a child. Not mine, not yours, not the governments, and women are also living things, something anti-choice people tend to ignore. There is a maternal mortality rate in this country that places us in the middle of the pack, women run real risks. They have the right to make that decision. Ever see a woman who has died of an infected uterus after an illegal abortion? That's not pretty either, and her family, who lost their mother and wife weren't happy about it either, but the family had all the kids they could afford. Just being a living thing isn't much of a recommendation for giving it more rights that the woman forced to carry. Germs are also alive, so are spiders and bugs.
