Is Renault 5 Much Safer Than Renault 4

What is the actual mileage of a Renault Duster?

These are real life figures of the 85PS version. If you drive with the AC off and a very light foot cruising at about 55kmph in 5th gear then you can expect a fuel efficiency of about 22kmpl.If you drive with the AC on and a very light foot and cruise at about 60kmph in 5th gear then you will get around 18-20kmpl.If your drive with the AC on and try to push the engine to the maximum and rev hard in city conditions then you will get something around 14-15kmpl.If you drive at above 120kmph with the AC on then you will get something around 13kmpl.This being a low powered turbocharged diesel the best way to keep the fuel efficiency high is by keeping the RPM under 2k at all times so as to not use the turbocharger.

Is Renault Kwid worth buying?

Owner since 5 months of Brand New renault kwid, i guess i am the best person to answer the question about new renault kwid:-Pros:-Looks Good with those its SUV style it catches the eyes on the road.300 Litre Boot space:- ..Yah yu read it right 300litre its even bigger than some of the sedans. You can even pack a dead body inside it :DCabin space :- as compared to alto it looks like living in a 3bhk versus 1bhk.Ground clearence:- Remember Indian roads , brakers when you have to cross the brakers with alto like you are owning a lamborghini…( thanks alto for making us feel like that) but we dont need it..With Kwid ground clearence of 185mm no issues,Cabin noise:- Damn its silent, cant hear anything.. even if there will be a bomb blast you wont hear anything inside it..Stearing: Very smooth as compared to alto and wagnorI Dont give a fuck renault.. here are the cons of renault Kwid:-1. Power Drop:- Damn man, I have to always turn off my ac when i am on red light, With ac on, onto redlights it transform itself into snails, when yu are pushing the acclerator hard but still no movement….Alto k10 is far far better in ac.. no such major powerdrop issue..2. No Side mirror adjustment:- Company dont give a fuck, every time when yu want to adjust the mirror, bring down your window and adjust it …feels like living in 19th century..3. No RPM Meter:- the meter is fully digital, you cant see at what RPM your car is.4. Back look too bad :- I think the designer was not happy with his paycheque just look it from back..5. Mileage :- I think my answer was too long only one word for mileage,”It Sucks”here are the video i have explained everything in detail :-and the link for brand new videoReply

I have a Renault Clio the coolant light has come on...in the manufacturer's book it says?

Clio's are not fitted with a coolant low warning system, so it is definitely nothing to do with the level being low. The are a few possible causes... does the cooling system contain enough anti freeze? If the coolant froze when the car was standing it would cause the engine to over heat. If the coolant level was low, it maybe that some air has got in to the system and it just needs bleeding ! There is a bleed screw on the thermostat housing and some clio's have them in one of the heater hoses. When you last drove the car was it running ok? or did the temperature gauge go higher then normal? If the engine is misfiring then it is possible for the temperature warning light to come on as a misfire will cause the engine to run hotter then normal. If the engine is not over heating it may just be a faulty sensor ! The sensor is located in the thermostat housing.

Which car should I buy Renault kwid or tata tiago?

I would suggest that you stay away from Renault Kwid!!!!I have personally test - driven the car a week ago for my friend and realised few things which i would like to share with you1- The build quality of Kwid is really very low in the whole segment.2-The interiors also are of inferior quality material as compared to other cars in the segment.( I found Alto K10 as a better option in terms of quality).2- The pick-up of Renault Kwid is not good while running on AC.3- I personally feel if the car meets an accident then there are very less chances of you surviving.4- Interior space is not comfortable on the rear seats.( Personally i feel the climber version is much overpriced.)4- Tata Tiago on the other hand is priced bit higher as compared to Kwid but the engine capacity is bigger. Also the build quality is way better compared to Kwid.( I have test driven the car and found it much comfortable to drive)5- Tata Tiago has won the best entry level hatchback award, and is equipped with all safety features.6- Tiago has a much better styling with good quality interiors as well as exteriors along with an much promising engine.(Both petrol and diesel)Personally i would suggest you to go ahead with Tiago.!!!Hope it helped

Which is a better SUV: the Ford EcoSport or the Renault Duster? Diesel or petrol?

All depend on your priority. One thing I can assure you, if you need a car with good ride and handling which is also abuse friendly, then Duster is unmatchable. It's so good to drive that you fall in love with it in the first instance itself. But it is light years behind in terms of interior, though ecosport is also not far ahead.Major factors are that both are from different segment, have different interiors, have different ride quality and much more.So first decide what you need in your car. If you need road presence, duster is better. If you need good interior, ecosport is good. If you need ride and handling, duster is perfect. If you need features, ecosport has plenty. If you need bootspace, duster has enormous. If you need petrol car, ecoboost is fantastic. If you need offroader, duster just glides. If you need a city commuter, ecosport is agile. And yes, both are cars, don't mistake them for SUVs.So decide first what you need, take the test drive keeping those things in mind and make the decision.Happy motoring

Volvo S40.. Is it a reliable safe car?

With the contingency that it can't be a fickle vehicle, a Volvo would be better than a Saab for you. Saabs are generally a bit safer but it's like comparing the two very best of anything -- the race is pretty darn close. Do you want the brain surgeon who has done 1000 successful procedures or the one who has done 1001 successful procedures? It's like that.

I've been in at least one MAJOR (totaling) wreck in a Saab. I was walking around picking up glass and asking who was hurt. I didn't even have dust from the air bag on me. I implore you to go to the Saab website and do some research on their safety features. They're built in everywhere -- even places you wouldn't expect.

However, they're kind of finnickey. Charming, classy, but quirky. If you want a totally problem-free car, you're better off getting a Volvo if you're torn between the two safest brands.

The bottom line is that an S40 is a very safe (albeit small) car and will probably surprise you all-around. It is quick, reliable, attractive, and classy. I would suggest getting a car more locally though. Driving two hours is a deal-breaker for me because ALL cars need service and attention at some point. If there is a Toyota, Lexus, Acura, or Honda dealer nearby, go there and see what grabs you. An Acura TSX or Lexus ES350 (excellent crash statistics) will cost about the same the S40. Research crash statistics on IIHS.com and -- believe it or not -- go to youtube.com and see what kind of car-carnage videos are available. Just for fun, look at this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2OmhxMf5o... My accident WAS at about 35mph so you can see what happens (and remember that I walked away totally unscathed). The 9-5 is mind-blowingly safe.

I know you didn't ask about Saabs but they are comparable to Volvos and I've been on the losing end of a few impacts in them. So I'm qualified to sing their praises. It was worth a shot...

Buying Cars: Should I buy a Volkswagen Polo 2011 (Used Car) or Renault Kwid car (New)?

I have driven both carsIf you are buying oneThat's according to your needs...If you are buying a VW polo (any model) please make a good mechanic from VW POLO or a mechanic with great experience of checking German Cars to check and survey the car completely and if he assure you that is in good condition then buy it. It will be a powerful car that will explode on highways like a sports car and it has a great stearing wheel … stability... Grip and THE build Quality is also very high....Ground clearance 166 mm and average 18 to 20 kmpl highwayAnd if you are going to buy a Kwid it is only above in average 23 kmpl highway and ground clearance 190 mm and just boot space 300 litres and Polo have 284 litres of boot spaceNow in shortVW POLOProsSuperb built qualityOne of the Safest carMany amazing features (computer system of car is best in class)Powerful engineStearing wheel is excellent and driver friendlyGreat tyre gripCons1 You have to slow down much at bumps and at bad condition roads as its front bumper some times touches the surface at these conditions2 high maintenance and service cost3 low height... (difficult for tall people while bumps and while entering the carThis is was VW polo. .……. . If you are getting this car after checking from an expert you can definitely go.... Just a little bit of service problem and high maintenance (according to your driving)Renault KwidProsLow maintenance and low service costHigh ground clearanceCheap for buyingGood interiorsGood averageCons1 worst build quality. made from cheap materials2 not stable much3 Stearing wheel is not good at all4 not safe5 not so much luxurious as POLO6 can break any part easily due to low build quality7 not tested for Indian marketIt's not good car to buy if you are looking for superior quality and performance.... Just go for it if you can't find a suitable POLO or you can buy Ford Figo second hand tooIf you are going for just average and low maintenance go for Kwid......But I would prefer POLO ….it will cause you high maintenance but it with that..... Don't listen to people just thinking of average and low maintenance........ Think of safety ….. Build quality...... And features.... If average is too much low you can go for KWIDBut in case of POLO it cant be compared with the standard of POLO . POLO is the best hatchback in India.... Just maintainance and arrive cost you more..... And average is also OK about 18 to 19 or even 21 can be on polo
