When I was a 14 year old girl, my father asked me if I would babysit the six daughters of his friend and his friend's wife while they joined my father and stepmother for an evening out. The girls ranged in age from an infant to nine years old. They were sweet, quiet girls, not given to making trouble, so I agreed.I had put the littlest ones to bed, and the older ones were settled watching TV when the 6-year-old invited me into her bedroom closet to play a game. I decided to go along and agreed to get in the closet. I was sitting on the floor at her direction; she joined me and shut the door.She proceeded to kiss me, and asked for oral sex, and offered to do it to me.I stopped the "game" immediately, and was so shocked and upset that when the evening ended, I said nothing. I was only 14 myself, and somehow I was afraid I'd be blamed for doing something wrong.Not long after that, on a subsequent visit, my father's friend followed me upstairs when I tried to use the restroom and molested me, putting his hands inside my underwear. I pushed him off and ran downstairs, and made sure I wasn't ever alone with him in his house again, but again, I said nothing.The first time my parents found out about my molestation was when I was in college and provided written testimony to a judge in an unrelated family court case between my divorced parents. My mother was devastated to learn what had happened during visitation with my father, but I assured her he hadn't known either. I still said nothing about the "game" in the closet initiated by a 6-year-old girl.I never said anything about it until I was in my 30s. A police detective had read my testimony written when I was at college in which I described my father's friend feeling me up when I was 14, and he phoned me at work to ask as part of his investigation if anything else had ever happened to me while in that house, and I told him about the "game."My father's friend had serially molested every one of his daughters all their lives, as well as his wife's younger sister. His oldest daughter finally reported him when she caught her father raping the littlest one. Turns out the girls' mother knew what was going on and never did anything to protect her daughters. My testimony over the phone about the "game" helped put him away for 40 years, and she got 20 for covering it up.I am so sorry I did not have the maturity at 14 to report it myself and save this family 15 more years of abuse.

Yes it's appropriate. It doesn't talk about sex positions and it is designed with a high schooler in mind. Some of the stories are even pretty helpful. There are some border line nasty things in there, but if I remember right it's nothing compared to Cosmo.

If he/she is 15-16, so what? I personally don't think a 13 year old needs to be dating. But, that's just me.Be very careful with the sex thing. In some states, minors have both been prosecuted for molesting each other when both are underage. Like I said, this is one seriously effed up country! Even f you're a teenager, the state may very well prosecute you as an adult anyway (go figure that one out!) and your friend as well, so, if you do get out of control, repent, but don't tell anyone! The law and law enforcement, the criminal justice system, our courts...are not kind to many. They can be compared to a swarm of locusts, destroying and devouring everything in their path. All to often, "justice" is what "just is" and is paid lip service to only. I've seen victim and perpetrator alike torn apart by the system while those involved in the tearing slap each other on the backs and go have drinks together.

I think the answer depends on intent, maturity, her parents, and the law.Do you intend to have sex? If so, it is probably wrong. At 15, she is probably not mature enough for a sexual relationship. If you intend to be a gentleman, then it may be OK.Maturity at 17 and 15 varies greatly. Girls often mature earlier than boys, but everyone is different. If you look like a full grown man and she looks like a child, dating is inappropriate. If you think like a full grown man and she thinks like a child, dating is wrong, very wrong.Do her parents object? If you put her in a position of sneaking around with you and lying to her parents, then it is wrong. If her parents think she is too young for you, she probably is. If you think she is your soul mate, just stay friends. If you are nice enough, her parents may change their minds someday. Or eventually she will reach an age where she can honestly tell them she is ignoring their opinions.Finally, you better check the law. I read about a guy who was arrested for statutory rape, kidnapping and crossing state lines, and the girl was only 6 months away from the legal age of consent. Even if you don’t intend to have sex, it is a bad idea to put yourself in a position where you might make a stupid choice. Don’t risk your freedom and if you are in the US, possibly spend the rest of your life on a sexual offender register. Don’t break the law.

Is it normal for a 14 year old girl to go to a public pool wearing two small triangles and a rectangle attach together with strings? Is Alternative Press Magazine appropriate for a 13 year old?
I was talking to my mom about me getting a subscription to Alt Press and she said she'd talk to my dad about it. Well...my parents are super overprotective and stuff, and I don't want them looking through my magazines and flipping out if they find like interviews with excessive swearing or inappropriate pictures stuff. I know you can get the online edition, but I'd rather not, because I want the posters. So would you think my parents would have any objection to it?

But the question is, can you keep up with the guy. He might just be getting a kick out of sleeping with a lady 14 years older.
