Drugs.. cocaine, ecstasy, meth, heroin, lsd... help and advice?
Ok, im 17 yrs old and im a very good student. I love trying new things and want to try something new. I do pot now atleast 2 times a week for paste 2 yrs, and i am totaly fine. I drink also at party's. I would like to know from people who tried other drugs about ADDICTION and is it really addictive. ALL ANSWERS ARE WELCOME beucase i would just like to see what people say about differnt kinds of drugs. thnx
What do I do to take care of a missed shot of meth? I missed an entire 60 unit shot. My forearm is hot and looks like its spreading?
OMG, please don’t listen to most of the comments. If you missed a vein, chances are you’ll be just fine. Since it burns like a mofo when the meth hits your interstitial space outside your vein, you most likely didn’t push a lot of the shot in.(research mixing meth, less water equals bigger sudden rush, but can tear you up with a missed shot. A little more sterile water helps not burn on a miss, and doesn’t tear up your veins as much on good shots) First thing to do is take the needle out of your body and stop everything, you can try again in a little bit if you want. Using a sterile 4X4 or cloth, put gentle pressure on the injection site for a minute or so to stop bleeding. Then put the area under WARM water or get a WARM compress(NOT cold. you want to warm the interstitial space and the meth fluid so it will absorb easier into your tissue). Keep arm elevated to level of your heart and lightly rub the area in a circular motion with the warm compress. You can also take some Ibuprofen for pain and to reduce swelling. It’s gonna hurt for a couple hours or more, and depending where the miss is, you could feel skin tightening around the area of the miss, or even some numbness at the end of that extremity. Keep warm compress on 10–15min and repeat ever hour or so.After 24hrs, if the swelling is persistent you can switch to a cold compress to reduce swelling. After 24–48hrs, if the pain hasn’t dissipated, the swelling has gotten worse, you have a weakening pulse and numbness in that extremity or the area is very red and warm/hot to the touch, then it’s time to go directly to an Emergency Dept. at a hospital or an Urgent care. If you are shooting dope, you’re gonna miss once in a while, I missed on occasion and I have medical experience. Just stay calm and do the above, you’ll be fine. With all this said though, I am not a doctor and this is not to be taken as a diagnosis and/or treatment of a specific medical problem, this is for discussion and harm reduction only.People of Quora, I know some of you get your jollys condemning people or telling them how bad they are, but let’s not forget, the main reason for going to websites like these and asking questions about drug use is for harm reduction. Please understand that my conscience would bother me greatly if I went into detail regarding your inquiry. But at the same time, I wanted to put your mind at ease SOMEWHAT. Yes, YOU ARE CORRECT, "it" will metabolize into AMP. For legal reasons & cuz (LOL) I don't wanna burn in Hell (not that I believe in that sh t) I don't wanna talk about shortcuts that will help you beat the system. Even though "it" does metabolize into AMP, there's a catch → it takes a TINY amount to send it over the line & start sounding alarms bells for the tester. Get me?? Meaning that if you continue "playing w/ fire", your amphetamine levels will be just off the chart & YES, it'll hella RAISE SUSPICION. Suffice it to say, that you need to power WATER from now till the minute you get tested so that your levels will be somewhat "normal" considering you're taking Adderall. How scary is crystal meth addiction?
I know addiction to any drug is horrible and terrifying, but I've heard some awful, awful stories about this particular drug. I just finished watching Intervention about Christie, the long time meth addict, and from the looks of that episode, being hooked on crystal is a living nightmare. For the record, I have no intentions of touching drugs of ANY kind. I'm just interested in reading about addictions and whatnot. Exactly how scary is addiction to this drug?

Why did I keep fainting after smoking meth?
I smoked meth (ice) yesterday & everytime I stood up I fainted or passed out. I could feel it comming on & would immediately lay back down, but sometimes I would get back up thinking it had that the feeling had passed but in the middle of getting something to drink or use the bathroom it would happen again. I would just pass out, not even being able to brace myself or anything. I feel like someone beat the sh*t out of me. I have lumps on my head & bruises all over my body I think I might even get a black eye. I fell at least 10 times yesterday & once today, thats not counting the countless times I caught myself both yesterday & today. I take hydrocodone (norco) daily for almost the past year, it is prescribed to me. I take two 10 mg. three times a day & am very used to it. I don't know if that had anything to do with it because the last time I smoked ice was about two years ago & I ended up passing out too even then, but only once or twice. I have only smoked this a couple times in my life & felt like I was going to die yesterday & still feel horrible today. I took a sleep aid last night & ate a sandwhich today trying to feel better but It's not helping much. I also took two more norcos today because my whole body is sore from falling so many times. When I smoked it other people were doing it too but nobody had that reaction, which was really embarrasing when they started to worry. Another added note every single time I ever smoked meth, my feet would get really bruised if I did it for about two days, which is longest my sessions would ever last. Like I said I have done it maybe 5 or 6 times in my whole life. Does anyone know why & if it had something to do with taking vicodin before I did it, though remember I passed out when I smoked the last time too a couple of years ago-the last time I did it, before I ever took my meds, though only a couple times not constantly like yesterday.
