Is Spare Parts Available Fr Sony Phones After The Warrenty Period

How do I claim the warranty of an online purchased mobile from Flipkart?

TY for the A2A.If your question is about how to lay your hands on the warranty terms, you'd find a warranty card inside the box of the product or on the invoice / order confirmation from Flipkart. This will state the terms of warranty viz. period, inclusions, exclusions, etc. If your question is about how to get a warranty-covered repair done, you'd need to approach the brand's service center along with a copy of your Flipkart invoice serving as proof of purchase. If, God forbid, you've bought an item on Flipkart on which the brand has announced a zero-warranty policy for online purchase - à la HP for example - then I guess you'd have to take it up with Flipkart.

What is the difference between a warranty and a support agreement?

It could be a BIG difference, but it depends.

With most Warranty agreements on computers,
you open the box.. you can return it for a refund or exchange in the first 10-30 days.
for the rest of the warranty, THEY (the manufacturer, or the supplier/store) will cover "defective" materials. So, YOU have to work through the diagnostic process.. sometimes with them on the phone, sometimes you can get a technician ($?) .. usually, if you and company agree that some part is broken, they send you the part free. Most parts can be replaced by users with a screwdriver - and they make you do the work.
( Dell does this.. basic warranty- U-fix-it.. higher service agreements, or buy a specialty system and terms improve.)

Some ( Sony, Toshiba, Apple) require you to bring the machine - or ship the machine - to them, where they tell you " We found [xxxx] damage. We think this was caused by [ your fault / not your fault ] and we will fix it [ your fault=$$$/ not your fault = free ] .

A service or support agreement usually adds the diagnostic and labor into the system.
- USUALLY- not always, and normally not even 100%.

Read the details; even if the salesperson tells you " We can fix this even if it gets run over by a bus" - if the contract doesn't say that, they won't do it.
Unless you get a "accidental damage" part to the contract, they don't fix common things like drops.. coffee/soda spills, overheating from dust buildup...

AND almost none care about your data- or your data disks. You need to make sure you have disks , restore disks, system disks, and that you keep them safe.

Personally, I am a hardware tinkerer. I don't mind opening and fixing it myself.
BUT - I do buy the higher-end equipment for myself, and I do get the extended warranty on my high-end gaming rigs from Dell & Alienware. I have had few problems with Dell support.

The others I mentioned have all been good - they send a box for shipping laptops; they determine cause/cost in 2-3 days ( 5-7 business days promised), and usually have system returned in a week.

Of course.. YMMV

EDIT: +1 Anurag.. very simple explanation.
Again.. this is not always true, but the basic terms do mean that.
Always read the contract!

How much does it cost to replace the screen on various smartphones and tablets?

It pretty much depends on the model of the phone you are using. If the warranty period of the phone is still active, though screen crack is not covered in the warranty as 99% of screen cracks happen due to physical damage, I suggest to replace the original spare from the service center as that will be long standing and will  be of  incomparable quality. If the warranty period is over, you would've already used the phone for more than a year now and you would be planning to replace your phone most probably with the latest advancements in the market and would not wish to burn your pocket more by investing around half of the phones cost to replace the screen. You can do these simple steps to reduce the cost of replacement.>Try to open the phone carefully(not suggested to most people as it has a small amount of risk included) and see what just happened. Is it just a screen crack or any internal components are damaged too? This is just to make sure nothing else is physically damaged and you can speak to the engineer more actively. Happened to me. Once i did open my phone and covered it back and saw that it started responding a bit too though not usable and i told the engineer that its just a screen crack and nothing else and i just want the screen to be replaced. It helped me reduce some cost as we generally don't bother to ask questions on whatever they say How? Why? and What? . This happened in a non exclusive service center though.>If you were able to open the phone and fix it right back, I suggest you to order the spare part yourself from Chinese markets online like:Find Quality Wholesalers, Suppliers, Manufacturers, Buyers and Products from Our Award-Winning International Trade Site. Wholesale Products from China Wholesalers at Aliexpress.comthis will save you a lot of money if you choose standard shipping without any cost or a 1 to 1.5$ cost. If you have a spare smart phone to check mails/Whatsapp/Facebook for a month or so, this will be the best possible way to reduce half of the cost that will be levied for you if you go to a service center.Cheers!!

I have a Sony Xperia Z2 and sometimes the screen works and sometimes it doesn't. The touch screen has also become quite unresponsive. Is the screen damaged or something else?

No, you won't have to pay if its under warranty and its not a physical damage. The reason i think your screen is unresponsive might be sweat or water. Whenever it becomes unresponsive, lock the phone, wipe it with something dry and unlock it, and it should work normally. Other reason can be a faulty charger if it happens while charging.

Does the consumer have the right to get the replacement of a product under warranty?

There is no need of a legal notice. Just go ahead and file complaint. Warranty is for a situation when after some use some disproportionate fault surfaces i.e. more than normal wear and tear. But yours is a case where the TV that has been sold to you suffers from defects made in factory. Hence the situation boils down to this - that the representation that the product is world class and free from any defect was wrong (might be false) and therefore your were induced to make the buy decision based on a wrong (might be false) representation which by exercising your best diligence and judgement you could not test and verify. Accordingly the Seller must be held liable to stand up to the representation held out to an unwary customer.By the way, If any needed please visit: https://warrantyrefund.com/home

Is there any way that I can get my phone's screen fixed under warranty?

Your question is mis-directed. You need to ask the issuer of the Warranty!PS. Warranties are usually for failure in manufacturing, design, or parts. If you broke your screen, that’s normally called “abuse” and is not covered. (You have a repair/replace insurance policy, don’t you? That’s what covers things like that.)

Will this void my warranty?

I currently have my 2008 Mazda 3 at the dealership for the power steering recall, they are also supposed to be looking at the motor on the driver side window. I received a phone call about some repairs they stated I need. They stated that I needed a transmission flush at at cost of $200, the throttle body and the fuel injectors needed to be cleaned at a cost of $185. I understand that dealership charge a lot more than other places that do service but that seems ridiculous. But my vehicle only 22,000 miles on it. I was wondering if I took my vehicle to a local shop that I trust and had the repairs done there, IF they are actually needed would it void my warranty? Also if they keep giving me the runaround over my power windows and not actually repairing the issue what can be done? The problem with the window is that they stick and now there is a clicking when I move the window up and down. They stated that some noises are normal but I'm not stupid this is not a normal clicking sound. And twice it has been there for window repairs. Sorry this is a lot but I am aggravated my this situation. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
