Whats the differnce between a stripper and an exotic dancer?
I was watching a show and I said that I would Dance on poles but not completly naked because i think that is degrading but i would be in like a swim suit or just topless. would that be called a stripper? which one?

Please let me in on your feedback, targeting specific areas of intererstp; Would you date a dancer? Would you marry one? Would you get a lapdance? Do you look down upon dancers a.k.a. strippers. Had someone been a dancer in their pat, would yo consider possibly dating or even befriending them? How do you, an individual in a collective society, view a stripper, exotic dancer, entertainer, or whatever else title you wish to use to address a female who removes articles of clothing from her person while dancing to a pop song and gyrating on person(s), male and female, and then receiving large sums of money for the acts performed?

Im writing a speech about how becoming an exotic dancer is NOT morally or illegally wrong. I would love to know how many of yall would think they would ever become exotic dancer. and how many of you dont think its degrading towards women?
Do you think strip clubs and exotic dancers objectify women?
If they think that they are earning respect, and power they are wrong. That is NOT how men see them. Men don't even look at their faces - just body parts. If that isn't objectification, I don't know what is. Sometimes my business clients want to meet in strip clubs, and their comments about the girls are not respectful. If fact, their comments are similar to what you would hear at an AKA dog show. I would never let my daughter work in one of these places. If the work is so empowering, then why don't you see rich girls stripping full time (not on a drunken lark?) If it is so gratifying to give lap dances, why don't women do it for free? They charge because it is essentially degrading. Most of the girls can barely walk and look drunk or drugged.

I wouldn’t recommend making a career out of it, if that what you’re asking.Whether you should or not… that’s ultimately on you to decide. You need to weigh and measure any benefit you perceive and audit it against any consequences you may perceive. My regular job, I deal with a lot of parents who probably wouldn’t necessarily approve of me if they knew what else I do. So I work at a club a good distance from where I work, and I’d dare say I should probably avoid any aspirations of becoming a politician. You should take the same considerations.Are you dating? If so, how will your SO take it? It brings out a lot of jealousy among SOs, and can put a serious strain on relationships and such. If you’re at a point where it looks serious, you should take that into consideration.You also have to figure out other factors. For example, if you’re in college and working at a club in the same town, you’re going to run into classmates there. Are you okay with that?As for how much you make per week, there is no definite answer. It’s highly unlikely you’ll be put on a W2 or W4 and paid as a waged employee with tips - in fact, you normally have to pay to perform. There’s a floor fee, the club takes their cut of your earnings, then you tip the staff, as well. It’s actually possible to lose money stripping, and it’s not uncommon for it to happen, especially if you think you’ll go in there, walk around the stage, halfassedly take your clothes off, and expect everyone to fall over themselves looking at your tits. You have to put work into it - you have to perform, and you have to sell dances especially, because that is where you make your money.“If” is the biggest two-letter word in the English language. You see a lot of students and people who either can’t get a full time job or one that pays adequately, because yes, you might end the night with $500, $1000, even more in your pocket, if you get a decent audience turnout of people with money to spend and the will to spend it, if you put on a good floor performance, if you can entice people to buy dances from you.I’m thankful I’m not dependent on the income I get from stripping, and feel for those who are… you will have bad nights doing it. While I haven’t had nights where I’ve ended up in the negative, I’ve certainly had less-than-fantastic ones.
What are the dangers of becoming a stripper?
There are lots of dangers. Both men and women will objectify you and degrade you by giving you money. Lots of strip clubs are ran by chauvinistic men that will try to rip you off and sometimes expect sex to keep your job. Dangers of rape and stalkers are always a concern for strippers, especially after leaving work in the parking lot on the way to their vehicle. Lots of strippers turn to drugs, because the objectification of your body is to unbearable sober. And in some rare cases, strippers will get stolen and sold into human trafficking rings and most end up dead. The list can go on and on and on.
