Why is the so-called 'Neurodiversity Movement' a dangerous one?
Who says the neuro-diversity movement is dangerous? I don't think deep down Amanda Baggs does want to be different. Just because you can't accept yourself doesn't mean other people with your disability don't accept them self. To me you are the dangerous one. You are the person who is unwilling to see yourself as a person of value. You are the one who by your questions makes others think less of people with autism and may in fact cause other with autism to feel despair. You can accept the person you are and still accept help. Loving yourself can mean that you love and want yourself to be the best you can be with the gifts you have.
