Yes and no. It depends on you. If you like iOS and have a lot of music and media in iTunes, the iPod touch is a very nice media consumption device that gives you access to iOS App and the Internet. It’s actually a very nice hand-held computer. This is provided you don't need a phone, as it does everything a typical iPhone does except make cellular network phone calls. (You can actually make phone calls on an iPod Touch within a WiFi network with the touch using VoIP apps like Skype, etc.)It’s a good bargain next to getting an iPhone to do the same thing if you don’t need the phone part, particularly since Apple has significantly raised their phone prices this year, starting at $700 (up from $350).However, if you just need it for listening to music, podcasts, or audio books, try to find a smaller new iPod that might still be on the shelves someplace or an audio player from another company. It’s a sad fact that Apple has abandoned the portable audio player market that they so carefully and successfully grew during the Steve Jobs era. They made the best players at a variety of price points with excellent build quality. Now they just make the iPod Touch, and for how much longer…Nobody knows.

64GB iPod Touch or 128GB?
So as you probably know, the new iPod Touch was released yesterday, and I'm planning to purchase one pretty soon. The thing is, I'm constantly torn between the 64GB and the 128GB. I currently own a 16GB iPod Nano and I'm contantly having to delete/uncheck music to make room for more music and its quite annoying. I looked at the properties for all of the music files on my computer and it says that there are 2,617 files and that totals up to 17.7GB. I do plan to put a LOT more music on this iPod in the future, but probably no more than 14,000 (or somewhere around 9,000 and below) (apparently that an estimate of how much music can fit on a 64GB iPod). I tend to use Spotify a lot more than iTunes though, and that should definitely continue when I get Spotify Premium for when I'm out and won't have access to the internet. I have absolutely NO problem spending $100 more for the 128GB capacity iPod, but I just don't want that money to go to waste when I don't end up using all of that extra space. I also know that the iPod's capacity doesn't come with EXACTLY 64GB, (maybe like 59.5 or something?), but I made a list of apps that I plan to download as well. Obviously MB are a lot bigger than GB and I know this will take up a lot more space as well as the apps that are pre-installed on the device and the apps that you cannot get rid of... I only plan to install about 18 apps to start off and maybe more in the future. So? What do you think? 64GB or 128GB?

What this means is that Apple no longer updates this iPod with new features, and that the apps you download onto the iPod Touch might not be useable in a year or two. If you just plan to use the iPod Touch for basic Internet usage, YouTube, music and that sort of thing, you shouldn't have any problems using it (although it might be a bit slower). If you need something that can run the latest games and have up-to-date social networking apps, look elsewhere.So with that in mind, is the iPod Touch 5 worth buying?This model of iPod Touch seems to be available on eBay for around $90-$250 (AUD) depending on the amount of storage and condition. An iPhone 4S (with basically the same specs + cellular connectivity and GPS) can be found on eBay for $150 (again AUD) or less. So for the same price, you can get what is basically an iPod Touch, but can also call and text.If you can find an iPod Touch (5th Gen) super cheap and you only need it for playing music and other light tasks, then go for it, or look for an iPhone 4S that can do the job for you. Should I buy an ipod classic 160gb or ipod touch?
I have Ipad 64gb 4th gen Iphone 5 64gb Galaxy note with 64gb total memory( 32gb gb memory card only for music I Don't travel a lot( max one to two vacation a year ) Study in a school where we are not Allowed to bring any sort of gadgets My favourite things to do are 1. Computer/ Reading 2. Physics, math and chemistry 3. Music 4. Gaming 5. Movies I can't decide whether to go for ipod classic 160gb or ipod touch 32/64gb. I know ipod touch can do more things but ipad, iphone or note can do do even more things. Will it be useful even if i have an iphone and ipad and note. As for ipod classic, the storage is awesome and the battery life is stupendous but the audio playback time of ipod touch is more than classic. So, even if ipod's extra feature wont be of any use to me, it does mean that it will last longer and therefore, i would not only be able to listen to music for longer period but if my other devices' battery gets over, i can browse, watch a movie on this. Also, is the storage 32 or 64 enough? or should i get classic for storage? Pls. Help
