Is The A.c. Of Hyundai Xcent Is Good

Is the Hyundai Xcent a successful car?

It was when it hit the market. Later on, things fizzled out for it and right now Maruti dzire is the champion of its segment. However, with respect to other rivals excluding Dzire, xcent is doing reasonably well.Biggest drawback of Xcent :Based on grand i10 which didnt fare well in crash tests.Poor front seats. Just sit in Dzire or Jazz or Swift or Baleno; and then sit on Xcent front seats. One instantly feels less comfortable and the fixed front headrests are horrible. Even cheaper cars like Wagon R LXi have 4 adjustable headrests.Below average performing 1.1 diesel which was later rectified during facelift and a 1.2 diesel is being offered.Fuel efficiency of petrol fell below mark in real world as compared to dzire and Amaze.Ride was bit unsettled, whereas rivals had more composed ride qualityPositives.Excellent refinement, even in diesel. very few can match this.Feel good factor. Makes you feel that you have spent money well, specially interiors.Large boot space.Reasonably spacious cabin. 3 adults in back are difficult, but still its quite comfortable for 3 adults (most of its rivals too offer similar or better comfort). There is no reason to go for Xcent over Elite i20. Elite i20 is better built inside out. Premium hatchbacks are more modern than compact sedans derived out of entry level hatchbacks.

How's Hyundai Xcent? I want a car with good features around 8-9 lakhs, and I don't want a Maruti car.

Xcent is better than Dzire and Amaze any day. My father is having Dzire vxi-2015. My BIL has amaze 2016 and I am having xcent sx 2018. I have driven all on Highways and in cities as well. So bit intro, I am auto enthusiast n driving since last 18 years, so quite qualified to answer.Xcent is very stable at 120 kph and it has so much safety rich features that you have the confidence in car. My car has ABS, EBD, AIRBAGS;which isn't in Dzire vxi. Braking of xcent is any day best in class. Its real value for money. Xcent sx is little cheaper than Dzire vxi but has features in line with Dzire zxi. My xcent sx has power windows, power steering, electronic controlled ORVM, 6′inch touch screen with Android/ apple car play, rear view camera, parking sensors, boot lights, rear ac vents, rear charging point, alloy wheels and much more. But the point is its very easy and effortless in driving. However Dzire has better pickup and 10% better ac which lacks in Xcent. If you can live with it then Go for Xcent any day.

What is the rated vs actual mileage of the Hyundai Xcent?

The Hyundai Xcent is silent, but a good-selling vehicle for the South Korean carmaker in India. The Xcent is a compact sedan that competes with the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Tata Tigor, Honda Amaze, and more in a highly competitive segment. The Xcent is popular amongst fleet operators in India and is among the top 25 best-selling cars in India. So if you are planning on buying a Hyundai Xcent, here are some of the pros and cons, or advantages and disadvantages of the compact sedan that will answer most of your questions and help you make the right choice.Hyundai Xcent engine specificationsThe Hyundai Xcent comes with a choice of either a petrol or diesel engine, paired to a standard manual gearbox with the option of having an auto transmission variant. Below are the detailed specifications.Hyundai Xcent pros or advantagesDesign: The Hyundai Xcent may not be the sportiest compact sedans on the market, but it tall-boy design has proven to be practical. The Xcent offers ample leg space and abundant headroomPerformance: The Hyundai Xcent’s choice of petrol and diesel engines offer good performance for commuting in the city and occasional highway trips. Combine that to the company’s claimed mileage of 19.1 km/l (petrol) and 24.4 km/l (diesel), the Xcent is a good choice for commutersFeatures: The Hyundai Xcent is adequately equipped with a fully automatic air conditioning unit, rear AC vents, steering-mounted audio controls, infotainment system with smartphone connectivity and navigation, push-start button, and more.Safety: Hyundai recently updated the safety features of the Xcent, making dual airbags and ABS with EBD standard across variants. Other safety equipment includes reverse parking sensors and camera with dynamic guidelines, day and night mirror, central locking, and more. Make sure that you have the Accialert device installed in the car for the safety while driving, so that you can get the emergency services on the go!Hyundai Xcent cons or disadvantagesAutomatic gearbox: Hyundai offers the automatic gearbox option with one petrol variant (S AT) only, not giving the customers much choiceDesign: The Hyundai Xcent’s design as we mentioned earlier is practical, but may not be appealing to many car buyers. This is owing to the fact that the design is not sharp, or sporty enough and resembles the Grand i10 at first glance

Which is a better car, a Hyundai Xcent or a Maruti Dzire 2017?

My vote goes to Xcent!. Maruti design appeal is more of lower middle class. To drive my point, look at its curvy designs as against straight and sharp design curves of Xcent (that adds to its classy look). The european style front grill of Dzire looks un impressive, see the front grill of Ford Aspire how sharp it comes across. Dzire still carries forward the classic mistake of the engine hood being long while the boot being small. Contrast that with Xcent which is more symmetric in its design appeal. Dzire comes across as more bulky and with its bigger wheel base and engine hood gives the buyer a false sense of belief that the car is bigger than Xcent. In reality Xcent is more compact and aerodynamic with an equal size cabin, better interiors and bigger boot than Dzire. Its due to its aerodynamic design, Xcent has a better ride quality at high speed as against Dzire which feels unstable at hight speed. Maruti will always appeal to the aspiring car buyers and not the seasoned car buyers.

Which car should I buy Honda amaze,Hyundai Xcent,Ford figo aspire, maruti dezire or Hyundai i20 elite?

Of all the cars you mentioned, leaving Elite every car belongs to compact sedan class.  i20 is the only hatchback. In the maintenance part, the only car which seems to (relatively) suffer is the Aspire. Rest all are almost niggle free. i20 has an image for being a maintenance monster but believe me when I say that I have never faced any niggles in my 1 year of ownership.  Efficiency wise,  go for Amaze or Dzire. Following are the short descriptions for each:1. Honda Amaze:       -Fuel efficient, powerful but (very) noisy diesel.Great space and airiness.Almost lacks every creature comfort.2. Swift Dzire:     -Safest bet. Can't go wrong with it. Also the most boring. Car for masses. 3. Hyundai Xcent:    - Typical Hyundai. Creature comforts. But minus the boot, i20 is better option. 4. Ford Figo Aspire:  - Best built. Strong engine. Not for mass but class. Maintenance a bit of issue. 5. Hyundai Elite i20:-Best looker. Strong diesel (aspire and amaze have better power but it is one of the most refined oil burner). Nice interiors. Feel good factor. Boot smaller than comparison. Space bit on low side. Hope this helps!

Which is a better car: Hyundai Xcent or Suzuki Baleno?

Both the cars are good and there is no point of denying in it. As, we all know that all cars has some positive and negative points. And everyone has different prospects in mind. I suggest you to go with Xcent, as your first choice. Otherwise lets have a look at the pros of both the cars:Pros of Hyundai Xcent:Mileage in city 13-15 and in highway 17-18.It has a modernistic body design.Fuel efficiency of diesel version is very good.Performance of petrol engine is impressive.Interior cabin is very spacious.Price range is very attractive.Pros of Hyundai Suzuki baleno:This is a well-priced premium hatchbackThe Maruti Baleno gets dual airbags and ABS with EBD as standardThe cabin space of the Baleno is good and five adults can easily sit and not get cramped like the Swift.Models on the Baleno come in petrol, diesel and automatic in petrol.Maruti has loaded the Baleno with the best of features which includes projector headlamps, auto headlamps, and DRLs.So, you can go ahead with the car according to your choice. If you are facing any issues then you can ask the genuine car owners on Feedbayk app, can chat with them directly.

I am planning to buy a Hyundai Xcent SX 1.1L diesel. Will it be a good car for the long run? What are some other options?

Right off the bat, the Xcent with its facelift received a bump in engine capacity from 1.1l to 1.2l. So with that sorted, the diesel motor on Hyundai is a great motor for city driving, because of its adequate power and torque and refinement. Just in terms of refinement, the Hyundai probably has one of the best engines here. Its fuel-efficient also. And being a Hyundai, it should also serve you well in the long-run. So its a really good option in this segment. Now as for other options, you could go for the Dzire. You see, cars like Dzire/Xcent are the prettiest looking of the lot, but they are very good packages and hence sell well. But if you enjoy driving, then you should go for the VW Ameo diesel or the Ford Figo Aspire. They are also good cars, with the Ameo having a little cramped rear legroom. If its sheer legroom you want, go for Etios. Sure interiors are not the best and neither the engine, but it gives you more space, practicality and Toyota’s reliability. If you want something cheaper and you will mainly drive alone in the city mostly, then the Tigor is a good option, with the engine being its Achilles heel.
