Is physical modesty religious, cultural or innate?
I think it seems to be innate...once children reach a certain age they start developing a sense of modesty and wanting privacy when they're naked. But it is either encouraged by religion or discouraged by culture. >Are their physical features a bargaining tool to their future successful life and so presented only at the right occasion to the right people? Sure, some women view their bodies as a bargaining chip, but I don't. Modesty's important. Your body isn't something casual and unimportant...it's private and special, and because of that it's not something that everyone should get to see. I like dressing modestly; it's really nice to be treated with respect and dignity and to have men talk to my face instead of staring at my bust.
Do you think artists have innate ability or acquired skill (or both)?
I think artists with innate ability are more likely to pursue and acquire the necessary skills to be successful in their field. I think people who are not artistically talented can learn the same techniques, but are not able to use those techniques as easily or learn them as quickly as someone who has the innate ability.
How do children develop to understand language?
i understand they first babble then go through a one-word stage, then two-word stage then telegraphic stage then later multiword stage but how is it they eventually understand it all. if you know anything about why children with dyslexia are different/ have differculties that would be great! Thanks
