Is The Media Racist Or What

What effect does the media have on racism?

I understand that the media adds fuel to the fire on racism through reinforcing stereotypes but what proof is there that media has damaged a specific race's image or caused problems among races?

How can the help of the media help reduce racism?

Racism has come full circle. It is now time to ignore it again. The media plays it up for their little sound bite and all it does is get people pissed off who weren't. It actually creates more racism. There are going to be racists in evey race. Its time to stop making these people famous.

How do you think the media has affected racism?

I've been noticing that in like every movie with mainly black people all the characters portray the racist stereotypical mind I say n*gger. But at the same time they also portray all the white people hating them being also mind I say pieces of trailer trash.
The films with mostly white people and lie a few black people it's the same way.
I'm fine with all races and honestly I've lived in most parts of the country and I've seen very little of either of these stereotypes.
just wanted y'all opinion on the matter =]

Why is the media jumping on Liam Neeson as a racist?

Because in the media/Hollywood, you have to take every opportunity to virtue signal. To show that you are a good person. You have to remove all context from remarks like Neesons, you have to skim over the remorseful parts and make the worst parts sound worse. Then distance yourself loudly and publicly from the person making the comment. In context, Neeson made the remarks to make the point that revenge can take people to the darkest of places. He has personal experience of this anger and rage. Race had nothing to do with it. He made it clear that if she had told him he was white, Scottish, Lithuanian, he would have gone for anyone in that community that had the misfortune of attacking him.Neeson remarked how, after a week, he snapped out of this red mist experience a realsied that what he was doing was disgusting, and worked hard to ensure this demon didnt take him again.Yeah, you can say what he did was disgusting. He admits that himself. But until rape happens to someone you love, you have no right to judge a man on his actions. And to Lily Allen, queen of bandwagon jumping? Fuck off. That man did something incredibly brave, admitting to his actions, knowing the cultural “virtue signalling” climate at the moment.Aim your rage at someone like Mark Wahlberg, who proudly physically assulted and racially harassed people in the 80s and early 90s, and faces NO backlash. The other reason he faces such backlash? He is a white straight male. The worst kind of human in the medias eyes.

Is United States as racist as the media portrays it?

No… I would say there is prejudice! But I haven’t seen anyone going around saying their kind is superior to other kind in a while. You get the occasional person who’s not all there saying such, but I believe that’s everywhere.Although you’d have to really be in your own world to not see that there is prejudice. I see it all the time in EMS… but thankfully prejudice is a choice people make, and many have chosen to not follow that path. Some of the best friendships you have are in EMS and when you get into the inner city departments they’re very diverse but I’ve never witnessed anything but professionalism between everyone, you see a patient, help the patient. This is a topic that could be talked about for hours and days and weeks and months… and get very political.

Why does the news and media only mention whites being "racist", but never when non whites are?

the democrat media wants to paint a narrative that racism is a one way street. keep all the other races angry against whites. they'll keep voting democrat. a few whites will vote dem out of guilt too.
