Is The Potus Being A Hypocrite As He Is An Avid Smoker

Pelosi haters: What are Senator Graham's reasons for lying about the CIA lying to him about waterboarding?

As between the CIA and Pelosi, on the issue of credibility I would have to favor Pelosi. The CIA's track record is not good and the facts concerning Senator Graham's briefing on the torture issues make them look really bad.

How does New York City have a complete ban on firearms despite the Second Amendment?

NYC does not have an outright ban on firearms. They, like many cities in New Yorkistan, regulate firearms in addition to the stifling State regulations and laws. Indeed, many of the laws originate with state assemblymen (or is assembly woman? Or assemblyperson?)…. Whose districts encompass the boroughs of NYC.Your NYS pistol permit is not valid in NYC. You must get one through NYPD, it costs a lot of money (non-refundable), and are generally denied. Handgun possession without a valid NYC permit is a felony.Long guns are “allowed” (except for modern seniautomatic so-called “black rifles”), must be registered with the NYPD, meetvtheir requirements vis-a-vis magazine capacity, safely stored, etc etc etc. the City Council is known to change laws that make legally owned guns today illegal tomorrow…then you get a letter from NYPD asking you to dispose of the weapon out of the city (and prove it) or turn it in to them…not for safekeeping but for disposal.Of course, the bad guys don't care about the law….

After so many marriages, how was Donald Trump allowed to campaign for the US President?

Look with every President we seem to break some kind of mold personal history-wise.Kennedy was Catholic.LBJ was publicly hostile to his enemies.Nixon appeared on a comedy show (Laugh-In which regularly mocked him) and told a self-deprecating joke (No, he didn't do it well)Ford made his own breakfast and made fun of himself regulalyCarter did a Playboy interview and admitted he eyeballed more than 1 chick in his life.Reagan was divorced and his step-children created tension.GHW Bush, the first Spymaster president, and quite frankly the only real preppy (you have to be 4 or more generations in to be preppy).Clinton, first real good old boy, first actual redneck, and first admit to sexual activity in WH without spouse.George W Bush was the first President to come in with questionable military service (let me define this because I found LBJ & Reagan to also have made more of their service than it actually was) and questionable business experience (except for selling Rangers —- his one and only great business deal and it financed his political career)Obama…first African American.Sometimes you get elected because you are more likeable than your opponent. I consider Trump’s 3 wives to be the least of his sins. Admitted adulterer. Admitted sexual assaulter. Probably the most sued. The most bankruptcies. The most mistresses.Or you could look at it this way.War hero and athleteTeacher and probably the only President to have practiced law without a licenseBadass keeper of enemy list and a guy who really knew how to cheat at politicsLovable goofball and athleteMicro-manager and Nuclear engineerActor and political dinner speaker (he loved doing this)Preppy, Yalie and sissy (no he was really not a sissy)Rhodes scholar, pot smoker, and probably one of the 5 brightest Presidents ever.Frat boy, prankster, and nickname giverWell travelled in his youth, father born in another country, and avid March Madness fanTrump has broken the mold in bad behavior, boorish conduct, and egotism but At least 63 million were good with that. When you are in the opposition, you are insulted: When you are a supporter: you are a razor sharp defender akin to Lancelot.

Question That Contains Assumptions: Why is it racist to dislike Barack Obama, but not Dr. Ben Carson?

I'm not certain why so many are willing to label Dr. Carson as unprepared or under qualified to be president.  Political experience is vastly overrated by pundits; real-world experience, common sense, and integrity are the traits I look for in a candidate.  Unfortunately, and paradoxically those traits often place at a disadvantage those who would seek to lead but lack the credentials of a seasoned politician.I have met Dr. Carson and know him to be an honorable man who wants the best for all Americans.  He is homophobic only in the imagination of the uninformed. This man is highly respected, not just for his intellect and skill, but for his compassion, thoughtful demeanor, and calm, well-reasoned solutions to difficult problems.  His greatest sin was having the boldness to speak against the hypocrisy of the current president. The Left would be considerably less offended by his words if Dr. Carson possessed different pigmentation.  It is his skin color that makes him a greater threat to Liberals, and virtually assures that, should he be so fortunate as to secure the nomination or a place on the GOP ticket, the vitriol aimed his way would be far more defamatory than if, say, Jeb Bush gets the nod.  Clarence Thomas was opposed by the left for exactly the same reasons Dr. Carson is, and will continue to raise the ire of the NYT.  They have left the plantation.  (LBJ: "I'll have them Negroes voting democratic for the next 200 years!") If that attitude doesn't qualify as paternalistic, condescending racism, then nothing does.  As for the hatred directed at Obama, I can think of no one who despises him more than Bill and Hillary.  For all their ideological similarity, the disdain couldn't be more obvious to those who pay attention.  Clinton once remarked, "just a few years ago he [Obama] would've been serving me coffee in the governor's mansion."  Someone should ask Obama whether he believes LBJ and Bill Clinton are racist.  If he answers in the negative, as I suspect he might, that would speak volumes.
