Is The Ps4 Likely To Come Down In Price Before Christmas 2014

Will PS4 price drop in 2015?

Wondering. It's 400 right now, and the only PS4 game I really want is Kingdom Hearts 3 which is rumored later 2015. But a store in my area is going out of business and selling PS4s at $360.

Pretty much wondering if its a good deal to grab one now (which it most likely would be a fancy blu-ray/netflix player until KH3 arrives), or just wait and hope the system's price has dropped when KH3 comes out.

(not sure how my info became an answer on here)

How much will the PS4 drop in price in the weeks following Christmas?

What is Flipkart's Big Billion Day Sales? Are they cheating people in the name of Big Billion Day sales?

In my opinion, Flipkart’s “The big billion day” was a huge scam.First let me explain what I did. Instead of manually refreshing the page every 5 seconds to check if new "STEAL DEALS" had arrived, I wrote a simple python script to do the same. You can check out my python script here. (shadowfax92/flipkart_parser.py)Basically, the script parsed Flipkart’s page every 5 seconds to see if any new product had arrived in “STEAL DEAL” section. If a new product had arrived, my scripted shouted “Ring Ring Ring” (Thanks to OS X “say” command :P) on my mac and then send out a mail along with few product details like Name of product, discount offered/price, status of product (whether sold out or not) and the link to the "shop now"/"view product" page. What I noticed (once the script started working) is very bizarre. Whenever a new product arrived (the one's with crazy discounts like 90% and above) in the “STEAL DEAL” section, it was already in “Sold out” state. This basically means two things, either someone bought all of these products within 5 seconds (which is very unlikely) or Flipkart was simply fooling the customers into believing that they were too late in selecting the product. I think the latter case is more plausible. Indirectly, Flipkart was attracting a huge number of customers to their page who finally ended up buying the next best thing.Few of the sample mails sent by my script:Mail-1:from: X@somemail.comto: Y@somemail.comdate: Mon, Oct 6, 2014 at 6:11 PMsubject: Simmtronics Xpad X802 TabletSimmtronics Xpad X802 TabletOffer: Sold OutFlat at Rs 99http://www.flipkart.com/simmtron....Mail-2:from: X@somemail.comto: Y@somemail.comdate: Mon, Oct 6, 2014 at 6:11 PMsubject: HGST Touro Mobile 2.5 inch 1 TB External Hard DiskHGST Touro Mobile 2.5 inch 1 TB External Hard DiskOffer: Sold OutFlat 90% Offhttp://www.flipkart.com/hgst-tou....PS: Did anyone actually mange to buy any product in the "STEAL DEAL" section? Is a PS4 worth buying in 2018?

Yes it’s futureproof.

How costly will HTC Vive and the Rift Oculus VR headsets be?

Here's all we have to go on:Oculus has said it's going to cost around $200-$400, but this was in 2014. It would jive with their more recent figure of $1500 for an all-in-one PC with Oculus support, however.Oculus answers the big Rift questions (Eurogamer)HTC's headset doesn't have any specific numbers, but they claim this:Starting with the premium experience, even if it has a slightly higher price point, is the right thing to do from a strategic point of view, The price can always come down as the market grows. We know there is some pent-up demand there, so there’s not so much price sensitivity early on. But to get the broader consumer adoption we’re all hoping for, the industry will have to drive price down to make it more accessible. Whether we do that with Vive or other form factors and devices, we understand the importance of driving price down to achieve adoption.HTC exec: Expect “a slightly higher price point” for Valve’s Vive VR (Ars Technica)So, $200-$400 for the Oculus Rift, "higher" for the HTC Vive.

Xbox One VS PS4 My opinion?

Hello, well I am going to do a quick debate on my choice of console.
Xbox One and the PS4 both have impressive graphics, and lets get one thing clear, graphics don't make a game but it's a nice perk. The Xbox One in my opinion appears to have a much wider variety of games to choose from, and better games to be honest. PS4 has some amazing games such as kill-zone and other amazing games, but not a lot. The PS4 is great how it is cheap and it does not require users to connect constantly to the internet every 24 hours and cost to borrow games. I do not like this at all on Xbox One and it frustrates me. Nevertheless the Xbox One features impressed me more than PS4. The Xbox is now partnered with Twitch.TV a very popular livestreaming site. PS4 has Uplay, from experience I can tell you Uplay is an average broadcasting site, nothing in comparison with twitch. The Xbox One now has blu ray and has the NBA the NFL and other TV shows that you can instantly switch to. The PS4 is getting Netflix which is fantastic. But then again Xbox One has Sky TV which in my opinion is much better. The kinect camera CAN BE TURNED OFF so the spying issue is no longer an issue. Overall I would choose the Xbox One, due to the video content, wider variety of games, and the online experience seems to be much better. I am a PS3 and Xbox 360 owner.
