Issue updating my Samsung Galaxy Note to Jelly Bean?

I've updated my AT&T Note before, but now im having issues. Since Jelly Bean recently became available, I thought I would update to it. The issue occurs after it's downloaded the files, there is no transffering to my phone. Kies Air recognized me fine and the download begins. When it finishes, the windows close and Kies closes down. I've restarted the computer and phone to no avail. Any assistance would be great. If it helps any, my "Android Version" is 4.0.4 and my Basebrand version is 1717UCMB4.

Is the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 inch going to be discontinued now the 10.5 is out (I'd like to buy one in February)?

The 10.1 is SLOW! Maybe I’m spoiled because I’ve been using the Tab S2, but I would personally save the money and get the Tab S2, 3, or 4. I received the Tab A from a supplier at work, so I’m not complaining. BUT if I had used my own money for it I would be upset.Samsung doesn’t use the latest and greatest CPU in their tablet like they do in their phones. They go one to two generations behind, so if you are going all the way to the bottom of their pricing tiers and it’s not even the current generation, you can see that you’ll be paying current prices for older tech. You’ll be bummed by how sluggish it is. And that’s not even talking about gaming. That’s just web browsing and video watching.Also, the screen is NOT very bright VS. the Tab series. My wife was using the Tab S (which came out in 2010!) and really liked the form factor (more letter sized and less boxy). She thought she would switch to the Tab A, but she tried giving it a day and said forget it and went back to her 8 year old tablet.

I can buy one which should i buy : 1-samsung galaxy tab2-sony tablet S1 3- ipad 2?

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 is a good option
- Lightweight slim tablet
- Excellent speed with dual core 1GHz processor to run latest application with no problem
- Excellent device to watch HD videos on YouTube and Netflix
- Smooth screen transition and snappy response
- Great browsing and gaming experience
- Flash is enabled

Which tablet should I buy: Ipad or Samsung Galaxy?

In short, I'd go with the Asus Transformer Prime, but here are the factors:

Galaxy Tab 10.1 vs Apple iPad 2

The Galaxy Tab 10.1 is the lightest (1.25 lbs) of the big-screen tablets and is the thinnest (0.336 inches) overall. Like with the iPad, however, thinness comes at the expense of SD, USB, and HDMI ports: Tab and iPad have none. Choose the Galaxy Tab over iPad if you love its light weight and thinness but want an Android tablet rather than an iOS (iPad) tablet. Choose the Tab 10.1 if you (a) prefer its 1280x800 TFT display more than iPad 2's 1024x768 IPS display; (b) want a better rear camera (3 MP) than iPad 2's lousy 0.7 MP camera; (c) believe in Android's more open approach to app development and acquisition; or (d) want Flash, which does not work on iPad 2.

Otherwise, go with the IPad 2, which has a higher degree of fit-and-finish than its competition. Like iPhones vs other smart phones, iPods vs other MP3 players, or Macs vs PC's, iPads are widely regarded as being more refined and polished than other tablets. iPad also has a large and refined App Store (although Android Market is closing the gap).

iPad 2 vs Transformer Prime

Even the ASUS Transformer 1 had iPad 2 beat on specs. The Transformer Prime blows the iPad 2 away. I'd think that only a die-hard fan of Apple's fit-and-finish, or someone who needs 3G, would choose iPad 2 over the new ASUS Transformer Prime:

Transformer Prime Advantages:
+ Display size (10.1 inches vs 9.7 inches);
+ Display resolution (1280x800 vs 1024x768);
+ Can be like laptop with optional keyboard dock;
+ Rear camera (8MP vs 0.7MP);
+ Front camera (1.2 MP vs VGA);
+ Rear video (1080p vs 720p);
+ CPU (1.3 GHz 4-core vs 1 GHz 2-core);
+ RAM (1 GB vs 0.5 GB);
+ Ports (micro HDM, USB, SD, micro-SD vs none);
+ Supports Flash;

iPad 2 Advantages
+ 3G option
+ Apple's legendary fit-and-finish
+ Larger App Store

Is it still better to buy Samsung Note 3?

Samsung Note series is awesome and it starts with S pen . I myself own Note 4 and let me tell you it helps me take short notes on the go with ease and the display size of the note series is good for watching videos and playing games  and it has super Amoled display which gives awesome viewing experience. Go for it.NB: These are my personal views and has no relation to the company I work at.
