Is The Tea Party Just An Extension Of The John Birch Society; They Are So Much Alike

How will Republicans of the future deal with the possibility that Barack Obama will be rated as one of our finest presidents and Donald Trump will be rated as one of the worst?

I rather don't think they'll have to deal with it at all. The Tea Party hijackers will either take over the party completely, in which case we won't need to worry about Republicans think (because the Republican Party won’t be calling itself Republican), or else the rest of the Republican Party will reassert itself against what the Tea Party has come to stand for. In that case, the Republican Party of the future will have tacitly accepted quite a few of Obama’s signature accomplishments, or else will have quietly withered away into political meaninglessness. The current direction of the Republican Party- supporting the rich at the expense of everyone else and favoring white men at the expense of nearly everyone else- is unsustainable. What we call “Republican” today will not last any longer than the John Birch Society, the Silent Majority, the Moral Majority, or that group of politicians dedicated to Grover Norquist’s “Taxpayer Protection Pledge”, at least not as an influential political bulwark in American politics. There are already signs that the Tea Party is starting to argue among itself about what the word “conservative” actually means. So Hegel’s dialect is already at work coming up with a new wave of politicians who will toss the title Tea Party on the same scrap heap of history as John Birch, Silent Majority, etc., etc., etc. It’s a very dangerous thing to predict the future based on current trends; history is best written with the benefit of hindsight. There may be enormous political upheavals before the next presidential election, there may not. But the current Tea Party tail wagging the Republican Party dog cannot conceivably continue for too much longer, unless the current corruption and erosion of political values really have taken root. Divisiveness and confusion as political weapons are the tactics of revolutionaries- no matter how effective you consider Spanky’s words and actions, you must consider their long term effects. This can only continue if America has truly changed, practically overnight.

So both the Tea Party and the John Birch Society are pro militia and for 2nd Amend. remedies?

You don't think people should be allowed to bear arms? Well if you don't like the US constitution you are welcome to move to another country. Don't worry, we won't miss you.

Why do Liberals try to make us feel guilty for being Americans.?

Liberals distrust and belittle standard American values because the values are Christian in origin. It is those core Christian values which drove America to prosperity, decency and world leadership. The real accomplishment (if you can call it that) of liberal doctrine is to make us feel guilty if we judge the actions of others as evil or immoral. The corollary is, if we fail to judge actions as immoral, we must condemn moral actions and beliefs. Since Christians judge actions of others as evil, Christian values must be wrong. This is basis of the vituperative attitude toward Christianity and, by extension, America.

All liberal thought, policy, values and beliefs are rooted in specific, fundamental, and very alluring lies. All liberal rhetoric is justification of those lies, there are no exceptions.
