Is The Water In Singapore Malaysia Thailand And Indonesia Safe

What would happen if Malaysia and/or Indonesia invaded Singapore? Would Singapore be able to defend against the invasion? What's the implication of this scenario?

With all due respect. If malaysia and Indonesia joined forces to destroy singapore. They will easilly do so. Indonesians have 210million population, a fierce army (although equipment is outdated). Singapore only has around 3-4 mio tops, and that numbers includes kuniangs, elderly, kids, the rich (who probably be the first one to flee), good paid employees with many things to lose, etc.Singapore would be a small red dot, if both indonesia and malaysia carpet bombed singapore, or launch a few ballistic missiles every missile would be a hit since every inch of singapore is densely populated.Sure singapore will hit back and hard but sorry, realistically speaking without nuclear or wmds the odds are too big. Even when malaysia and indonesia stupidly makes blunder in the war on the grand scheme of things the numbers and casualty would be something that's out of the question for Singapore.Singapore might retalitate in johor but they have not enough manpower to secure it, best case scenario they can strike back and hold johor, kl, Jakarta, batam, that's 4 major cities with millions of occupat. Jakarta alone has 12m population. How does singapore find enough people to control the city? One guy has to watch and control 10 people, and that is if you include the kids the women and the elderly. The war on attrition would be hugely against singapore as for 1 singaporean has to fight against 50 indonesian plus 15 malaysians. The only question is at what cost?Although luckily i dont think this will happens. Singaporean wont surrender, foreign nation would intervene, sanctions, the us will play their parts, and the actual prize of Singapore is her people, if you invade and kill everyone inside singapore is nothing but a piece of worthless land which malaysian and indonesian has plenty of.EDIT: I’ve lived in Malaysia/Indonesia/Singapore for a time, and I have no hate/favor towards one another, and this war will never break out in real life, but in quora universe, with the assumed constraint (No Outside interference, no WMD) there’s not a chance Singapore could win. The only question will be how much of the enemies they take down with them before the city falls.

What is the better option, Singapore and Malaysia or Singapore and Bali?

I will strongly recommend you to go to Bali and leave Malaysia and Singapore behind. Reasons to go Bali then going Malaysia and Singapore are as following:- Bali is cheap. It's cheap then Singapore and Malaysia. Petrol is cheap. Food is cheap. Staying in the hotel is cheaper. Because petrol is cheaper in Indonesia, you can take a bike for rent and through all over the islands. In Bali you can get everything, if you are a beach lover or a night life, or forest or mountains. Of course you can find those thing Malaysia too but as Bali is small island you can easily reach anywhere in some hours by bike. Volcano. Mt agung, for trekking is breath taking. Around Bali, there are gili Islands which are beautiful and famous. They are 3 islands where you will not going to find a single motor vehicle. You can just take walk all over the island in just 4-6 hours. Watch sunset and take a sip of lemonade. You can also go to near island called lombok which is also one of the most beautiful island.I can never stop. But again of course Malaysia and Singapore is also beautiful. Something you'll get in Malaysia which you'll not get in rest of the 2 places, vice versa. The main reason to chose Bali will money, money maters man, I'm a backpacker so every dime a save adds up one more day in my journey. But don't listen me,  or anyone. Listen you heart, you are like a bird, decide and fly. Good luck.

Thailand or Malaysia for cheap shopping?

Hi, I have been to both countries so I know Thailand is good for shopping however, I went to Malaysia for a relaxing holiday and I was away from cities etc so I have no idea what Malaysia is like for shopping. I now want to go away again and don't know which one to go back to!

How come cars sold in malaysia and singapore do not have heaters on them?

Well I went to singapore three months ago and I have noticed that the knob to regulate the temperature inside the cars only had color in it, blue. So I wondered if cars in singpaore do not have heaters on them. I only saw an ac button on the cars.

Which is a better tourist destination - Malaysia, Singapore, or Thailand?

Definitely Thailand.

Singapore is pretty cool, modern and stuff but is way too small to be anything interesting enough for a holiday for a whole family. They have upcoming tourist attractions like universal studios but they aren't open yet so don't go there if you have to choose one of the three.

Malaysia is kind of like Singapore, nothing very interesting just the Petrona Towers and going to the Genting Highlands.

But Thailand is definitely the best, they have really nice beaches with all sorts of family activities like snorkeling, diving, water rafting and things like that. Culturally they are also the most interesting, I find, just the people and their way of doing things and THE FOOD! Props for food, definitely, especially if you're a curry person! Bangkok is really good for shopping too.

Safety-wise, Singapore is the safest but Thailand is quite alright too, just don't do really stupid things like provoke people -.-

Where to go, Malaysia, Taiwan, Philippines, or Hong Kong?

I am planning a trip to Japan and on the way back I would like to stop at one of these places.

What are the opinions on each, things to do, places to see, language barrier, recommend best for a single guy?

I am having difficulty picking one I would love to see them all. Hong Kong is the most expensive flight and Taiwan is the cheapest flight.
