Is There A Disney Princess Named Erica

Where can I find a list of all Disney princesses and their princes? Are there any who don't have a match?

From the official Disney Princess line:Snow White and Florian (Ferdinand isn't actually his name - it's a common misconception. Ferdinand is actually another character, from a different animation and is a bull.)Cinderella and Charming (also known as Kit in the live-action movie)Aurora and PhilipAriel and EricBelle and the Beast (also known as Adam in some promotional material and in the Broadway musical)Jasmine and AladdinPocahontas and John Smith/John Rolfe (John Smith is her "prince" in the feature film, but John Rolfe is her "true love/prince" in the direct to DVD sequel.)Fa Mulan and Li ShangTiana and NaveenRapunzel and Flynn Rider/Eugene Fitzherbert (his real name is Eugene)Merida, who has no love interestAnna and Elsa are not actually part of the Disney princess line up. If they were, the pairs would be:Anna and KristoffElsa is single (for now)

Is there a Disney princess named Erica?

I have a friend, who happens to be from another country. Her name reflected that fact, so when she moved here, she decided to change her name so it was more American sounding. She changed her name to Erica, and she says she picked that name because when she was a kid, she used to watch Disney movies and there was a princess named Erica and she always loved the name. I don't remember ever seeing a princess named Erica in any Disney movie, but I was wondering if I'm just missing something.

Will there ever be a gay Disney princess?

Well, your friend's point is not exactly valid. The Disney Princess Elsa from Frozen (or Queen - whatever) does not have a significant other in the movie, nor is she rescued by a man (she pretty much saved herself from losing control of her powers by figuring out that love is the answer, with help from her sister Anna.). Some even believe that she is gay, though there is no direct evidence in the movie to support this. I understand you haven't seen Brave, however that movie is the first Disney Princess movie where the princess does not fall in love with anyone. In fact, the movie makes a point of the princess Merida refusing when her parents try to have strangers from across the sea compete for her hand in marriage, and her parents finally coming to terms that the suitors must first win their daughter's heart before her hand.  While the topic of gays and lesbians is still highly controversial, it is slowly becoming more tolerated. The Walt Disney Company hit a big milestone in relation to this recently when the Disney Channel TV show Good Luck Charlie had one of the children, Charlie, become friends with a girl who had lesbian mums. This is the first time the Disbey company introduced gay characters and while they had very minor parts many parents who saw the show did not approve, believing that the topic is too much for their children to comprehend. However, many viewers supported this step and congratulate the Disbey company for giving this shout out to lesbians. So the answer to your debate? I guess only time will tell, but I believe that if gays become more tolerated to a level where the majority of parents are ok with their kids being exposed to this topic that there very well could be a lesbian Disney princess.

Should Disney have a gay princess?

The thing about representation is that when we want to develop a character that represents a minority, it’s usually the only trait we care about. It’s the same with everything that could be considered unconventional, like how fat characters are always the funny single lonely friend eating their emotions or the black one is sassy and angry. There’s nothing wrong with loving food or being sassy, but we need better representation. Something that adds to the storyline and makes these characters important and not just used to fill a quota. We should absolutely have a gay princess, but that shouldn’t be her main personality trait or be made as such a big deal. Sure, we can still have the whole “Girl marries royalty”- storyline, but we need to add something more to the mix that is important to the story, like Ariel wanting to be human or Belle saving her father. Not because we should diminish the fact that the character is gay, but because we need to highlight the fact that gay people are just like everyone else.

I need opinions on baby names :)?

same with Amberlyn, i also like Elias and Ryan.
hm, if you want more names, open Google, write "baby names"
it has more than a thousand names ! :D

but if you asked me, i would say "Bruce" and "Axl" for my favorite names and "Michelle" for my favorite girl name

I also like
Marx, Heinz

Tiffany, Elvani

wish all the best for you and your baby, Mrs ! :D

Is this name hard to pronounce?

I like it a lot. It's pronounced Ah-Roar-Ah...

It is of Latin origin, and its meaning is "dawn". Mythology: Aurora was the Roman goddess of sunrise. Used by 19th-century poets such as Byron and Browning. In some versions of the fairy tale "Sleeping Beauty", the princess's name is Aurora.

Hercules, disney vs. actual myth?

XD I love the Disney movie, but it's actually 98% inaccurate in it's depiction of Hercules (Heracles being his actual Greek name, for starters) life.
First of all, Hera WAS married to Zeus in Greek mythology (1% right) but Hercules was NOT her son- Zeus was always cheating on her and she hated it. After Hercules was born SHE sent two snakes to kill him in his crib (not Hades) but Hercules strangled them. Hercules was born on Earth and not on Mt. Olympus; but he did want to go to Mt. Olympus to live. Hades (his father's brother) had absolutely no problem with him at all, but Hera set up 12 trials that Hercules had to face before he could be reunited with the gods on Mt. Olympus. These 12 trials included killing monsters (such as the Nemian lion) and other ardous tasks which are not at all included in the Disney movie. Eventually Hercules succeded in these tasks (with no help whatsoever from Pegasus or a satyr named Philocetes) and was brought to Mt. Olympus, where he and Hera finally reconciled their hatred. Hercules DID have a wife named Megara or something similar (Another 1% correct), but he accidentally killed her in a fit of rage (I think he was attacked by a poisonous insect or something; afraid I can't remember). Anyway, his second wife KILLED him (not quite Disney material) when she gave him the poisoned blood of a centuar that Hercules had killed (the centuar had lied and said his blood would make Hercules madly in love with her).
So yeah, great movie, the Disney version, but highly inaccurate. :D Hope this helps; good question!
