No, unfortuneately Wicked is yet to be released to DVD, and as far as I've heard there aren't plans to release it yet BUT There are rumors circulating that there are plans to turn Wicked into a film (though no one has confirmed it) There is a full-length series of videos of someone who filmed the show (illegally, though) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhBK1ZmUpww This is the first part of the video series, just go to part 2, 3, 4, etc. after you finished each one. What is the musical "Wicked" about?
Wicked is about the friendship found between Glinda and Elphaba. They start out as extremely reluctant roommate and eventually find a beautiful and special bond and it is about how they become Glinda the Good and the Wicked Witch of the West. On top of that, there is the complex and fascinating love triangle found between the two girls and Fiyero, which in a way strengthens their friendship

(OBC- Original Broadway Cast) I'm a huuuuuge fan of Wicked and Idina Menzel/Kristin Chenoweth ^_^ I'm like, obsessed with Wicked. Seriously. It's kinda weird. Haha. xD Anyway, I REALLY want to see the musical with the original cast. Only two ways to do that. One, build a time machine. Two, watch it online. Does anyone know where I can watch it for free online? I found one the other day but its too blurry and I can't make out 70% of what they're saying D: No point in watching if I can't hear! no, there have been rumors of a Wicked dvd release for years but it is yet to be actually executed. However Wicked is an extremely accessible show in terms of seeing productions with 2 national tour casts if you live in America, as well as a Broadway Cast, a West End cast as well as an Australia cast.
In the musical Wicked, why is the scarecrow in love with Elphaba?
Because according to the musical that ISN"T what happened. The musical/book "Wicked" is supposed to be the true story of what happened and the Book/movie "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" is supposed to be the story according to the Wizard and all who feared/misunderstood Elphaba. *It should also be noted that there are discrepences between the musical and the book "Wicked"
