Is There A School That Has A Pta Porgram And A Sports Team

Shouldn't Homeschoolers be allowed to play public school sports?

Right now homeschoolers in the states that don't allow them to play competitive high school sports have no outlet for their athletic abilities. Every state that has passed the Tebow Bill (allowing homeschooled students to play high school sports) has neither reversed nor amended the law, doesn't it just make sense for homeschoolers to be allowed to play?

Do professional sports teams hire PTA?

So right now I was working towards a degree in physical therapy. After two years of classes my grades have not been as high as I expected and am afraid I won't get into grad school. My new plan now it to get an associates degree in physical therapy assistant and then finish my last two years of college towards the physical therapy degree and if I still don't make it to grad school so be it. I do have a connection with a friend who could get me to shadow and maybe get a minor job with the Cincinnati Bengals which would be my dream job. I know for sure professional teams use physical therapist but my question is are there also a team of physical therapist assistants? Is the only way to work with a pro team like the Bengals is to get a PT degree or are there other options because I really only want to follow the Bengals around but not have it go to waste if I can't work there one day with only a PTA degree and 4 years completed in college.

How do I find sponsorship for my high school robotics team?

Diversify…. Have multiple approaches.First, I'm going to assume this is a FIRST Robotics team? There are multiple programs that have different costs. FTC is the smaller robot, less expensive program. FRC is the big kahuna. Nothing cooler than watching six 120 lb robots flying around slamming into each other…I'm not familiar with the cost of FTC. A good FRC team you need at least $10K. Competitive teams are around $50K. Elite teams exceed $200K. Seems like a lot? Check out the cost of a HS football team or marching band. Then ask yourself how many go pro…. Your robotics team, in my opinion, will have a far greater impact on society so don't give up. Here are some ideas.1/ get the school involved. Talk to teachers and the principle. Show them the Morgan Freeman promo video. See if they have any funds to help sponsor you. You need $5K to get registered for a regional and to get the starter kit. See if they can help. Ask to speak at a school board or PTA meeting. Target that first $5K. Talk about the money being an investment. FIRST has tons of scholarship funds.2/ Set up a table showing the video and get abou 10 to 20 other students involved. Have a meeting discussing the program. Show the statisticshttps://www.firstinspires.org/si...Invite students and parents to a meeting. Explain the program. Students need to contribute. We typically ask students to pay $500. This is for a very competitive team that travels (2 regionals and championships). We have 60 students. As a rookie team, ask for $200. Most rookie teams have 8 to 10 students so it starts to put a dent in the costs.3/ Sponsorship! FIRST is like NASCAR. You will see sponsor logos all over the robot. Talk to local businesses. Home Depot, Lowes, restraunts… but really look for manufacturing companies and engineering firms. Ask to meet with the owner. Have a 3 minute elevator pitch. Ask for support. Anything from $100 to $2000. But ALSO ask for engineering support. You really need help fabricating things. Also mentors. FIRST is all about mentors. Get engineers to help design and build the robot. One of the returns on the sponsorship is the company gets to know the students. These students can be interns or future employees. (I generally hire 10 FRC students every summer).4/ do fundraisers. Pancake breakfasts can raise $500 fastBe creative and don't give up. It's the hardest fun you'll ever have.

Should I transfer to a public high school?

I currently go to a jewish college prep high school, and i hate it. I have to take class I hate and have to deal with only having a 100 kids in the whole school. I kinda of screwed myself over by telling everyone that I am leaving at this private school. And now I am getting cold feet, and I am really nervous to transfer because I have trouble with change. What should I do transfer or stay?

What can parents do to improve their students’ schools?

I would say there are a few things. Let’s start at the core of your child’s education, the teacher, First, talk to their teacher(s). Ask if there is anything you can do to help him/her out. See if they are low on supplies, need more books, or if they feel they could use something in their classroom. Are there students who come to school hungry because of financial issues? Find these things out. If you want to buy things they feel would help, that’s so wonderful. But for many this is not an option financially. Start a gofundme, start a fundraiser and talk to other parents to raise funds if there are issues money can solve. The teacher may even ask for time in the classroom, offer yours if available and talk to others to get them to help.Join PTA. Find issues, do thing to solve them. Take it higher and higher if there is no resolution. Start by talking to the teachers. Help raise money if needed, donate books and supplies if possible. Join other parents who have the same wishes to improve their school. Thank you for wanting to make your child’s school better. :)

How many days a week is school in japan?

The official answer is 5 days a week Monday to Friday. When I first came to Japan, it was sort 5.5 days (half a day) on Saturday, but a few years ago the government reduced it to 5.

However, the reality is that many Japanese kids are at their schools all of the time. They are there after school during the week for club sports or other activities and many of them are also their on Saturdays as well for more activities.

Elementary school kids up to grade 3 usually aren't allowed to participate in club activities so they go home right away after school, unless there is some special activity going on like a rehearsal for some kind of school event. Then they might stay a little longer.

Grades 4-6 usually stay to about 5pm and then they are told to go home. Same also holds true for junior high school students as well. They are usually sent home around 5pm though some may hang around a little longer.

Some high school students basically come and go as they please. If they are on some kind of sports team or in some club they may stay past 6 if they have some tournament of big time event coming up. Many high school kids end up going straight from their regular schools to "cram school" (private special intensive instruction) for some more intensive studying and instruction.

I would guess that the majority of Japanese kids from elementary school 3rd or 4th grade on up are probably attending some kind of "cram school" for special instruction or exam preparation. Some parents even start their kids earlier than that.

There has been alot of calls the past couple of years from PTAs or Educational think tanks around Japan for a return to the 6-day school week. So, far the government has resisted that pressure but it is increasing. It seems that alot of people are associating the decline in the academic ability of Japanese students as a whole with the switch to a 5-day school week and the insitution of a more liberal (less rote-learning based) curicullum.

There's probably something to what they are saying, but, personally, I think alot of Japanese parents like to view schools as a "daycare center" and teachers as "baby sitters" or "surrogate parents" who are supposed to be raising their kids. If the kids have to go to school on Saturdays then the parents will have one less day to look after them.

A group consists of 4 girls and 7 boys. In how many ways can a team of 5 members be selected if the team has at least one boy and one girl?

We have 4 favorable cases: (1 boy, 4 girls), (2 boys, 3 girls), (3 boys, 2 girls), (4 boys, 1 girl).Total number of favorable cases: 7c1*4c4 + 7c2*4c3 + 7c3*4c2 + 7c4*4c17*1 +21*4 + 35*6 + 35*4 = 7+84+210+140 = 441This can also be done by subtracting the case of selecting all 5 boys from total number of selections.That is, 11c5 - 7c5 = 441
