Omegle not connecting to people using common interests?
For the past couple days omegle Will not connect to anybody with common interests. Its forever "looking for someone you can chat with". But the second I take it off it connects to someone. Its not that tags, because the tags I use there is always someone on, and I even put in really popular interests to make sure that that wasn't it. How do I fix this? I am on my phone by the way.
Why won't Omegle find people with common interests?
About a year ago, Omegle could easily find people with similar interests through the Facebook-interests check box. It won't do that anymore. It either finds someone with one similar interest or it doesn't. 1 out of 10 searches will be someone who likes pizza or music. I tried sending a support ticket, but received no answer. I tried using both Chrome and Firefox to no avail. Does anyone have the same problem? It's pretty frustrating.

Omegle common interest not working?
so i was on omegle and then all the sudden it stopped letting me search people through common interest, it would search but then it would quickly go to "random stranger" and instead of getting actual people, it seemed like it was connecting me with people who were using the text section of omegle because everyone was identifying there age and sex, although the video was still up no one showed up. so i went back to normal random chat and an hour in it did it again and now this time the random section is just random people who are using text only with no cam. im not sure if there real people or i was just put into some limbo section of omegle but it doesnt say i was banned and i could still connect to the site... does anyone have this problem or have been through it?

What interests should I put in to find normal people on omegle?
Putting interests are not an assurance of meeting normal people on Omegle. I put "PewDiePie" once on my interests, and I met and older man trying to show me his "thing". If you didn't know, PewDiePie is a famous YouTuber mostly watched by teens and kids. So really, despite all the interests that you may put, you can never really tell who you will meet.

Is it weird that I connect better with younger people?
I’m 28 and a lot of my friends are between 17 and 20. Like I feel like I have more in common with people that age like playing Xbox and movie interests. This age group also comes with my job where it’s usually school leavers who apply at McDonald’s. I find it easier to get along with them then people my own age who have there own houses, engaged or married and have kids. Honestly I don’t even feel like I’m 28 years old.
