State Farm Insurance uses ridiculous, underhanded tactics...Anyone know of a really good auto insurance co.?
And that I shouldn't drive their vehicle. Now--I'm 29, again my family has bee a customer for over three decades...You're telling me this guy either couldn't trust us (all law-abiding citizens, except for my DUI, which was minor) and me not to drive while under suspension, or else he couldn't call us to discuss it over the phone if he indeed had any doubts? What's next? Telling all your extended family members when you get a ticket, so they'll make sure that you pay it? Or perhaps sending them your insurance premium, just so you won't forget about it?...ARGH! PLEASE. FOR THE LOVE OF ALL, TELL ME. Is there an insurance company or agent that is still "old school"? Who conducts business in the old, friendly manner? Who does your auto insurance, are you happy, and why (if you've never had any accidents or problems, please don't answer...I'm more concerned with how other companies address issues, not "I've paid my premium, never had an accident, and I'm happy with it.").
What's your reaction on some people blaming the band "My Chemical Romance" for the Virginia Tech shootings?
"My Chemical Romance Some fans of My Chemical Romance have misconstrued my review of last night's show at Bank Atlantic Center. Nowhere in my writeup did I blame the band or its fans on last week's tragedy in Virginia. I did point out that the band addresses issues of depression and alienation that are similar to those expressed by Seung-Hui Cho, and by lots of kids, for whom the band acts as a kind of spokesman. MCR singer Gerard Way addressed this himself in a speech during the concert, which I quoted. I also differentiated the band from the killer by saying the musicians vent and express their frustration in music, rather than with guns, and encourage their fans to do the same. However, I do think the band crosses a line by peddling in bloody images and performing in front of a large backdrop of handguns with the word REVENGE, as I also wrote. If they had dropped the backdrop, I would have felt much better about a concert that, as I wrote today, was "genuinely cathartic." I do think that the copyeditor who wrote the headline accusing the band of a "deathfest" inflamed readers. Nowhere in my review did I say the show was a deathfest. In fact, I quoted lyrics where the band embraces life."
Who is tired of White folks getting blamed for everything.?
Absolutely!! There are African Americans, Mexican Americans, Asian Americans, Arab Americans, Native Americans, etc. And then there are just Americans. You pass me on the street and sneer in my direction. You Call me "White boy/girl ," "Cracker," "Honkey," "Whitey," "Caveman" .. And that's OK. But when I call you, ******, Towel head, Sand-******, Camel Jockey, Beaner, ****, or Chink ... You call me a racist. You say that whites commit a lot of violence against you, So why are the ghettos the most dangerous places to live? You have the United ***** College Fund. You have Martin Luther King Day. You have Black History Month. You have Cesar Chavez Day. You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi You have the NAACP. You have BET. If we had WET (White Entertainment Television) ..We'd be racists. If we had a White Pride Day .. You would call us racists. If we had White History Month .We'd be racists. If we had any organization for only whites to "advance" OUR lives .. We'd be racists. We have a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, a Black Chamber of Commerce, and then we just have the plain Chamber of Commerce. Wonder who pays for that? If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships...You know we'd be racists. There are over 60 openly proclaimed Black Colleges in the US , yet if there were "White colleges" ..THAT would be a racist college. In the Million Man March, you believed that you were marching for your race and rights. If we marched for our race and rights,you would call us racists. You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you're not afraid to announce it. But when we announce our white pride ..You call us racists. You rob us, carjack us, and shoot at us. But, when a white police officer shoots a black gang member or beats up a black drug-dealer running from the law and posing a threat to society ..You call him a racist. Why is it that only whites can be racists? ALL people deserve the same treatment regardless of race, religion or gender. But, my opinion probably doesn't count because you know writing this makes me racist too, right?
Why does crime go up when blacks move into an area?
Because if a black commits a crime, they usually go to jail for a very short period of time, if they go at all. They have to commit crime after crime after crime to do any serious jail time. If it looks like a black is going to jail for a while, other blacks start protesting and getting violent about how they are treated unfairly knowing the powers to be will back down because the blacks will destroy anything in their paths if they don't get their way.
