Is There A Tracking System That Will Allow You To See If Your Email Was Seen By A Person You Sent

How can one track whether a sent email was read? I’m using gmail.

You can set any email to use the read receipt feature and be notified as soon as the recipient opens your message. This feature works across most email services and clients, even for contacts who do not use Gmail.Compose a message using your Gmail account as you normally would.Click “Request return receipt” under the “To:” text box. A new checkbox option will appear.Place a check in the box next to the “Request read receipt” option and then send your email.Check your Gmail inbox later for a confirmation. It will come in the form of a new email letting you know which contact opened which message and the time your message was read. Also I recommend you to use Gmail integrated NetHunt CRM. This tool offers unlimited folders, records and follow-ups, as well as email tracking, calendar support and mass emailing. The app adapts your inbox with basic CRM functions. Emails are shown with qualifying information, and clicking on the NetHunt icon beside the sender’s name allows you to search for relevant records. NetHunt also allows filtered views of records.NetHunt allows for email marketing campaigns and a customizable sales pipeline. It’s offered at tiered pricing plans; a Small Business plan costs $25 per month for 5 users; various Growing Business tiers increase the price and user cap.

Can someone see when you open their email?

In most circumstances (see exceptions below), the short answer is “no” unless the request a read receipt and your system is set to accept a read receipt (see “Settings” on your email). In some cases, the emailer can embed a uniquely-named image (which can even be a 1-pixel image that’s too small to be seen) in the email and then see that you've opened the email when you download the image from their server, but you can configure your email system to open emails without automatically downloading images (prompting you to “Click here to download images” if you want them). Again, view the settings on your email system. But in short, if your average email user sends you an email and you open it without a read receipt, in normal circumstances, there is no way for them to know whether you opened it or not. However, if a professional emailer sent you an email, the answer is more complicated. For example, if they had cookied you (given your browser a unique tracking number called a cookie) while you were logged in to some service you receive from them (and you are still using that browser and have not yet cleared your cookies), and you had clicked a link in the email that took you back to their website, they may track that and know that you had a click-through event and therefore that you had opened the email. That said, companies don't normally make that information available even to employees on an individual level (not in a way that is connected with your personally identifiable information such as name, email, phone number) because it would be intrusive and creepy for a customer service rep to say, “I see you opened the email we sent you about your bill.” It's more for tracking performance metrics on a wider scale, and sometimes to update your profile in order to make future communications more relevant, etc.

How will I know if the email I sent is already seen?

This all depends on the platform you sent the message on. If through an autoresponder such as Aweber or Getresponse, you can check to see if the message was opened and even if your link inside the message was clicked on. Don’t think there is an option if you are simply sending someone an email from a free service such as Gmail.

Can you track an e-mail after you have sent it??? To know if it is recieved and opened?

You could send a read receipt, but in actuality, all a read receipt is, is a second e-mail asking "Did you read my e-mail?" The receiver will get a message when they open your e-mail saying something along the lines of "The sender has requested a read receipt. Send a reply now?" and if they choose yes, it sends an e-mail back to you saying "this person has sent you a read receipt/they have confirmed receiving your email"

It doesn't guarantee that the receiver will hit "yes" nor does it guarantee that the receiver has read the e-mail. (It's kind of like signing for a package you get from postal mail -- either way the package just gets dropped off at the door, and you don't know if it's been opened or not)

Beyond this, the best way to see if someone has received an e-mail and opened it would probably be to ask them.

If you forward an email can the original sender see that you forwarded it?

Only if you include the original sender with the forwarded email. In nearly all cases, if not all, when you forward an email you get an empty To, CC, and BCC address input box. The subject generally has “FW” or “FWD” added to the front of the email to show that it’s been forwarded. But ultimately, unless you add the original sender, the original sending will not know that you’ve forwarded the email. Now let me also say this. If the original sender included code embedded within an email letting him know exactly when and how many times the email has been opened, he will know. I see this with CRM software from time to time. But outside of that, with a traditional email, the original sender has zero knowledge you’ve forwarded the email, unless you include him as a recipient when you forward OR one of the recipients that you’ve forwarded the message to informs the original sender.

How can you know if someone has accessed your email account?

Basically When you want to know who opened your email then there are tools available in the market for that. Tools like SalesHandy and Yesware provides email tracking feature. SalesHandy is free and great tool. Other tools like Mixmax and Boomerang also allow email tracking but limited.

How can I get notified when an email I sent gets deleted by the receipient- whether read or not?

You cannot. Not unless you control the server and client software for the email recipients, and can modify it to add a feature that tracks deletions and reports them back to you. There is no standard for sending such a notification between mail systems, and no mail system that I know of even offers that as a feature for internally sent and delivered messages, so you'd have to build it all yourself and get people to use it.
