Is There A Way Someone Can Help Me With A Research Paper

Can someone help me understand/help about writing a research paper?

Ok so I just made a research paper a few days ago.

GETTING YOUR SOURCES
Right off the bat you need to get your sources. Most teachers tell you you need about 4 sources. If your teacher didn't tell you how many you need, I recommend about 3. So first, you need to GET the sources. I don't recommend using internet websites as sources UNLESS you are positive that they are credible. NO wikipedia. Go to your library and get books on your topic. However, I did find some sources for you and I listed them below.

http://kidshealth.org/parent/positive/family/tv_affects_child.html
http://www.cnn.com/HEALTH/9908/20/kids.tv.effects/
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/27917852/

NOTES
So now that you have your sources, you need to take notes. I suggest about 1 page (not front and back, just one side) of notes per source, but you can take more or less depending on how much you need.

OUTLINE
Now that you have your notes you need to create an outline. If you don't know how to, i'll explain here and leave links below. So, you need to have one main focal point for every 1-3 paragraphs. (Don't jump from point to point but have more than one idea). So you need to organize your outline by ides and then put bullets under each idea as sub-ideas. It should be pretty clear once you do that how to write it.

CITE YOUR SOURCES
Also, to cite your sources, you can use the websites that I put the links for below, too.

I hope this helped :D

3) Current Practices in Organ Transplants (how it's done)

4) Info and Stats on Organ Donations & Donors (what organs are donated, by whom, under what conditions

5) Problems with Organ Transplants and Organ Donations

Would someone be willing to help me write a research paper on the Salem Witch Trials?

If you have questions about how to research and write the paper, you should start by asking your teacher for help. Your school (if you’re in college/university) probably also has a Writing Center or similar office that can help you. And your school library must have several books about “how to write a research paper.” Any of those resources is infinitely more helpful than random strangers on the internet.

Encephalitis research paper help!?

Open with a strong statement about encephalitis. It might refer to the number of cases each year or about how it affects a person's life. Or it might start out with "Uncommon in the United States, viral and bacterial encephalitis can be easily misdiagnosed as a simple case of influenza with devestating long-term effects." This paves the way for the information you'd include to explain and support this statement.

Your conclusion is a summary paragraph of everything you cover in your paper. One example might be this:

"The symptoms of encephalitis can be ignored or misdiagnosed. [Because the early symptoms and subclinical cases can resemble flu] It's most commonly associated with HSV and arboviruses. Quick diagnosis and treatment can be life saving. [Because severe viral encephalitis can cause respiratory arrest, coma and death and can result in long-term impairments] There are various, easy ways to diagnose it. [lumbar puncture, EEG, brain imaging and rarely by brain biopsy] Antibiotics can be used to treat the bacterial form. For viral encephalitis, primarily bedrest and a healthy diet. [Not much can be done for viral although in some cases and antiviral is used] One day, we may use a chemotherapy medication to treat it. [Interferon therapy is being researched as a possible means of treatment for encephalitis caised by the St. Louis and West Nile viruses with positive results so far, but more study will have to be done before this form of treatment can be approved for use]

All the writing inside the brackets is what could be included in the body of the paper. It gives more detail.

I would start with an opening (thesis) statement. Follow with a definition, causes, number of occurrences in the U.S., age groups most likely to be affected, the pathophysiology, long-term effects, diagnosis, treatment, prognosis, then closing (summary) paragraph. Good luck.

I HAVE TO WRITE A RESEARCH PAPER please help!?

You are talking about the evolution of a young person into a professional career choice. What are the schoolactic requirements for this job, the trainning for this job, the personality of a person wanting to choose this line of work, the joys (healing the sick and injured) and sorrows (euthanasia of perfectly healthy animals) . What are the financial rewards.

To do RESEARCH is to look INTO the lives of veternarians ansk a serious of these questiions. Be CERTAIN to ahve a list of questions ready when you do an interview.

A vet is the BEST source of the answers you will need to write this paper.

Also, as an added punch, as you talk to several vets, pick out one with a particularly heartwarming story, maybe a personal challenge on the way to becoming a vet or something that happened in their career that made a life changing mindset for them.

Rememebr this too, there are DIFFERENT types of vets, large animal vets, exotic animals, farm animals, household pets, and different skills within the field, such as those who specilize in certain animal parblems like bone work and such. You need to reearch this information ans background an as a basis for chosing your veternarian subjects for interview.

Vets LOVE their jobs and will gladly take a few minutes to help you with your project.

And remember, thereis a GREAT chance to find a real human insterst story in this project. Don;t miss out onthat opportunity.

PS Take a tape recorder with you for the interviews and get the ACTUAL spelling of words you find hard to understand and then look them up on the internet.

Some of the stories I could tell you about my vet and our dogs over the years. They are a godsend and a marical worker all tied up in one package.

Good luck

I need help on my research paper? It is on the poem "the raven" by edgar allan poe?

Thats an epic paper.I wish I got given stuff like this to do.

schiz is probably the easiest to look at and the most obvious.
http://www.nhs.uk/Conditions/Schizophrenia/Pages/Symptoms.aspx

The speaker shows auditory hallucinations
That I scarce was sure I heard you' - here I opened wide the door; -
Darkness there, and nothing more.

visual hallucinations
(unless we assume that the speaker really did see a raven, however it does work really well as a symbol for a mental disorder, especially as a raven is known for its colour, and depression is often referred to as the black dog)

Paranoid delusions
(that the raven is somehow a bad omen)

Bi polar depression is shown by the change from the calm, almost melancholy, feel of the first part of the poem compared with the last frantic part of the poem, however theres a negative slant on the poem throughout. bipolar depression seems to be a bit difficult to fit into this poem though as it is usually characterised by extreme lows (the depression part of it) and manic highs full of energy and, usually, positivity. The positivity isn't present in this poem.

What about Delirium tremens?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delirium_tremens#Symptoms
He mentions its night, that hes in his chair feeling weak an weary. Possibly due to extreme alcohol consumption? Especially as the poem mentions that its december, a time to be 'merry' with your love ones around you. Or perhaps just alone and drunk if you've lost your lifes love.

"The main symptoms are confusion, disorientation and agitation and...fever,"
"Back into the chamber turning, all my soul within me burning"

"DT occurs in 5-10% of alcohol-dependent people and carries up to 5% mortality with treatment and up to 35% mortality without treatment"
"And my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floor"

Can someone help me start a research journal website?

“Good things don’t come cheap”, I mean free. However, my advice is that you should register with WordPress. org or Blogger. com. They will provide you with the necessary tools to design your first website or a blog, for free.I am serious. For beginners, (without any web development knowledge), these platforms provide an opportunity to create a space for everyone in the virtual world. They provide many useful tools, themes (WordPress have a variety of themes), widgets to start with. You will find scores of tutorials on the web today, helping you to understand the usages of each and every module. However, the contents will be yours. Alternatively, you can convince someone to write good contents for you.Once you have your website ready, find a good hosting company and host your site. For advertising, you can always use the social media, such as here Quora, Google+, reddit. These are also free.

Why do we write research papers?

There are several reasons. Here are a few of them.(1) To put new knowledge in a public forum to announce it to others and so that can others use it. It is desirable to advance the frontiers of scholarly knowledge, and it's also nice to write down what we know in a nice organized format for later times when we want to revisit knowledge that we've acquired.(2) From a more practical perspective, creating new knowledge and disseminating it is part of our job, and it's thus required of us if we want or have a job at a certain type of institution (such as a research university).(3) By writing research papers with our students and postdocs, we're teaching them both about science and about how to write. And we're also learning about things ourselves as we write! Many of us became scientists in part because it is a medium to spend or lives simply learning things. To write a research paper, it is necessary to pick up a lot of background knowledge (even after the analysis/calculations/experiments/observations/etc themselves) to do it well.(4) There are also practical benefits: prestige, establishing credentials, requirements for grants or to help one get a future grant proposal, and so on.(5) It's also fun!

Can I publish a research paper alone or is there any requirement for me to have a partner or professor from my college?

Even asking the question shows how many people have not grown out of putting up their hands to go to the toilet. I do not know why, but American students seem to be incapable of even attempting doing things for themselves. They are stuck in a hierarchy of their own making.Of course you can. There is nothing to stop you except having the temerity to do it. I published my first paper in 1982. I did not show it to anyone. When I got the referees’ comments back my supervisor was impressed and he helped me respond to their comments. I am Australian and my supervisor was an Oxford D Phil: he expected me to be capable of doing things myself. It got accepted. 37 years later I just published 2 papers with him.
