Is There A Way To Completely Control The Volume On My Samsung Galaxy S3

Headphones Volume control doesn't work on Samsung Galaxy S3 .?

I need more information. Do you mean the volume control on your headphones, or the buttons built into the side of the phone?
If you're talking about the buttons on your headphones, it depends on which music player you're using. I use PowerAmp which has options to allow the use of external buttons

If you're talking about the buttons on the side of the phone, if you're not in the music player when you press the button, it will change the call volume, not the media (music) volume. When the popup appears, click the grear icon and move the media slider.

You need to be more clear if you want a valid answer. You're not giving anyone a lot of information.

Hard reset a Samsung Galaxy S3?

Hi,
Can you try these two things:
Turning phone off,
Pressing the home and volume up buttons and hold them.
Well holding them, press and hold the power button till the screen turns on. That should boot it fi recovery mode.

If that doesn't work, try doing the same, but with the volume down key instead of volume up, that should boot it to download mode.

If you manage to boot to recovery, select wipe data, and select yes.

If you can boot to download mode, its a little more complicated.
But if you Google "flash ROM Odin galaxy s3" you should find lots of guides.

If the basic system apps are missing, I think the guy must have rooted the device (gained access to the system files,).
If that's the case, the second option above is the only way to restore them.

If none of the above work, I think the phone must be broken (hence the good deal ).

Samsung Galaxy S3 won't play music through earphones?

It sounds like many people have the same issue with the SIII. A couple fixes seen in forums:

- Close out the program completely and restart it with headphones plugged in.
- Reboot the device with the headphones plugged in.
- Using Samsung Galaxy specific headphones.

I can relate. My laptop audio is set to a specific device once an application is opened. For example, once I have opened Google Chrome with headphones plugged in, only those headphones will play audio until the program is restarted without the headphones in. The problem with both of our computers could be that the audio isn't being switched automatically when a device is plugged/unplugged.

Best of luck!
