According to the bible, it never states that one can lose your soul, let alone sell it. Does satan love to give people what they want if it means turning from God? Sure, sometimes. But his ultimate goal is to kill and destroy you eternally. So while you may get what you want, you will be doomed for all eternity if you die with your back towards God. That's just what satan wants, but it doesn't mean that you can't turn back. God loves you and he has a great plan for you. He wants you to get to know him and follow him because he is going to do great things through you. He doesn't want to destroy you and in fact begs you to turn from your sins and follow his Son who he sent to save you.

No "selling your soul" isn't a requirement but, if you want to be a true artist, intelligence is. Marilyn Monroe once said "Hollywood is a place where they'll give you $10,000 for a kiss but 10 cents for your soul". That applies to the entertainment industry now as much as it did then. Power brokers couldn't care less about your soul or what you believe; what they care about is whether you are a profitable investment. That means that your product has to be excellent. Of course it's rather easy to argue that such an environment is anathema to true spirituality (and true art for that matter as well) and many people famous for their creativity struggle with and dislike the business aspect of the industry. It's essential to be aware of that before getting involved. The Illuminati doesn't exist in the form conspiracy theorists think. There's no secret meetings; the power brokers of the world may not even know each other. Instead what you have are "powerful" people committed to a coarse materialism which is currently trickling down into the masses unimpeded now that pesky religion, what with its demands of being a decent person, is out of the way. Dark times ahead.

How could you think that possible success is the devils work? And why would you think signing this record contract as signing your soul away? I would think more along the lines of its a career. If you have talent enough to be offered a record deal and the terms of the contract arent too outrageous then why pass up the opportunity to use that talent in a positive way? The signing of the record deal doesnt have to mean, drugs and whoring. Its not a matter of what your career is, its a matter of how you carry yourself and present yourself in that career. It can be a positive thing, maybe God has seen fit to give you the opportunity of a life time. The opportunity to set yourself up in a position where your voice and message can be heard. It then becomes your choice on what exactly that message will be...

It means he or she gave up there morals (or what they really believe in) to be famous. Like, if a singer was really religious and didn't believe in being naked in public did a music video where they were naked, that would be an example of selling their soul for fame.
