Is There A Way To Make Ripstick Rubber Wheels Last Longer

Pneumatic wheels on a caster board?

My university is really big. So much you can't walk in between classes and make it on time. So I took my ripstik one day. Worked really well except for the surface being too rough. It would wear down the wheels too fast. So I thought, what if I put actual rubber tires on the thing?!? That way I can use it on the gravel sidewalk. Good or bad idea? Not sure if it would be harder to move on, but it would go over the cracks with less trouble (and save me from the embarrassment of so much noise coming from the plastic) Would like to hear some input on this.

Can I use other wheels for my ripstik besides the official ripstik wheels?

i have actually tried this and somethimes the wheel are a bit to big,
if you shave some off the rubber off in line skate wheels it works preetty well
+ its waay cheapperr (:
good luck with it,
those things are soo funn (:

What is the difference between casters and wheels?

caster: small swivelled wheel on the leg or underside of a piece of furniture.

wheel: circular frame or disc which revolves on an axle and is used for vehicular or other mechanical motion.

Wave board or ripstik ripster?

Get a bike. I was obsessed with the ripstick as well, but you get over it fast. Then it just sits, unused and untouched, in your garage or room or whatever, collecting dust. Seriously; i haven't touched the thing for like a year now. I would get a bike if I were you; Ripsticks and waveboards aren't even half as functional. Also, speed isn't that great on either.
The wheels also wear down quite quickly, depending on what you're riding on, and may leave rubber trails. So you'll have to go out and buy new wheels in like the first two months; Yet another reason to get a bike.

So, in conclusion, get something other than a ripstick or waveboard, like a bike or roller skates or something.

What's the hardest skateboard wheel?

I'm looking for a good set of wheels for park and stuff. I'm thinking 48-50. But I was just wondering what is the hardest wheel? So far I'm looking at Spitfire street burners, 100d. So they don't get flatspots, plus I love the sound of the tailslides and powerslides. Haha, any tips appreciated.
