I'm starting to hate being a vegetarian.?

Being vegetarian does not need to be a big deal. Most people will respect your decision if you respect their right to eat meat. In social situations, I just eat a lot of salads, etc.--just like many people who are trying to lose weight. When I go to a banquet--I signal the waiter and politely ask that no meat be added to my plate. No special favors--just no meat. When I go to a restaurant--people now ask me if they can have my meat. I have never regretted becoming a vegetarian. You may want to exam WHY you decided to change in the first place. The first year was interesting, but after many years of being a vegetarian--and accepting the good nature kidding--it is no big deal.

PS If you miss meat, try the meat substitutes. Some of them are really good.

How do you start eating meat after being a vegetarian?

When I started again (also for my health) I slowly eased into it. Start by cooking broccoli and other veggies in beef broth (you can get organic, free-range beef broth at most specialty stores). This helps you acclimate, and then you can slowly add in bits of solid free-range animal products. I know it is hard, but if it is vital for your health, you need to try. I was also never a fan of fish, but some wild caught white fish have a very mild taste, that goes away if marinated. I always felt better about fish than other animals, as the wild ones got to live good lives beforehand. The same is true of venison. Place an ad offering to buy venison from a deer hunter near hunting season. Those animals at least got to live the lives they chose before death. I wish you the best of luck. Maybe talk to your doctor and see what the bare minimum amount of meat you need is before you follow any of these suggestions :)

How do I become a vegetarian?

To become a vegetarian, there is no right or wrong way. A lot of people seem to be saying that you should do it gradually and “not quit cold turkey.” As a vegetarian of 2 years, I can tell you that this is a very personal decision and process. Don’t let anyone tell you what you should or shouldn’t do to become a vegetarian (unless they are a doctor) or what is or isn’t right for your body. I personally did not like meat to begin with, and I am so devoted to my ethical beliefs behind my decision that it was incredibly effortless to stop eating meat. And I did “quit cold turkey.” However, if you have always been a meat lover or even just have some favorite meals that are made with meat, it might be a little harder. But that does not mean impossible. There are so many delicious and healthy alternatives that are better for you and maybe even taste better. Don’t let people deter you and do your research. How can a vegetarian become a non-vegetarian?

Well from my personal experience, I was a vegetarian for first 15 years of my life, in my school canteen, they used to serve seekh kabaabs(mutton rolls), I ate them 5-6 times before getting acknowledged of the fact. I used to relish eating that before getting to know what actually I was consuming, after that I became hesitant, quite reluctant and didn't eat those rolls for a phenomenal period after that. Coincidentally KFC opened there outlet at just a stone's throw distance from my house. My friends had gathered there the first day it opened, so I also decided to join them and seeing everyone eat something or the other, I ordered the first thing that I glanced upon, since I had no prior knowledge what the stuff I was going to consume. I ended up consuming 5 strips of chicken, it felt really weird, ignominious at first but since that place was quite in the vicinity of my house, I decided to give it another try the next day, this time I felt better, I actually liked what I was devouring, since then I have gone on to try all kinds of stuff. I have had beef, crabs, prawns, lobsters and many other things. In fact, prawns are my favorite.
