Is There A Way To Take A Picture From A Google Doc Links And Make It Show Up As A Preview In

Yahoo Mail preview of docx files?

Gosh some answerers can not read the question properly.

So impatient to answer that they do not seem to have bothered to even take the time to see what the asker is saying. Hey it must be all about points instead of helping. To each his own I guess.

These folks should work for Yahoo support who specialize in goofy non sequiturs.

Here is the correct answer: When someone sends you an attached Microsoft Word file, Old Yahoo Mail (OYM) lets you preview the document even if you do not have MS Word on your PC. Yahoo uses a technology named Outside In HTML Export (OIHE) from Stellent, a division of Oracle.

Stellent has just announced that OIHE has been upgraded to handle MS Office 2007 file formats. This includes the new DOCX format used by MS Word 2007.

Beta Yahoo Mail (BYM) does NOT have the OIHE preview feature and probably never will. Odd because Google is adding new document preview features everyday to Gmail.

OYM does not seem to have upgraded to the new version of OIHE and I bet it never does, especially since BYM does not even have OIHE.

You will wait forever for a valid answer from the foons at Yahoo support.

You can download a so-called Office 2007 compatibility pack from Microsoft. But what if you do not have MS Word?

You can ask your sender to resave and resend with an earlier version (or the universal but limited RTF format) of the document.

Or if you do not have Word, you can download the free Word Viewer.

Search the web and you will find software, freeware, shareware and websites which claim to be able to convert the DOCX files automatically.

Personally, I'd rather just ask for a resend.

Best of luck, hope you get more and better answers next time.

Is there a way to remove the preview image from a Facebook link you've already posted?

You can certainly do that.Go to the postLook for the triple dot at the top right corner of the post. Select “Edit Post”In edit post view, you will see your link in a thumbnail box, and top right corner of that box, there’s a drop down arrow, don’t select that.Go to the thumbnail image, touch that and you will see a different menus. Option to “Remove Link” / “Remove Thumbnail”. The latter is your solution.

How do you embed a video into a Google Doc?

It is not possible on a Doc, you may add the hyperlinks but that is pretty much it. You have to consider that word processors are not meant to include videos. I am pretty sure that in the future it  will be a feature of Docs and other word processors, because we are printing less and it would make sense to have this feature on digital documents. There are other services that allow this. Just this morning I bumped into this on Google+ Embed a YouTube Video in a Google Doc - OverDRIVE I have never used it, but I'm planning on checking it out along with Docsend tomorrow.Another option you might want to check out is Lucidpress it integrates with Google Drive and it allows you to insert youtube videos.Let me know what finally worked for you.

How to make a read-only copy in google docs?

Assuming that you are using the new Google Docs look:
- click on the blue Share button on the top-right corner
- a "window" will open, under "Who has access" click on Change
- select "Anyone with a link" and below make sure that the "Can view" option is selected and not "Can edit" if you don't want that person to edit your document.

Click on Save and send the link that will be given to you

Google Drive: Squares showing who's online have faded color?

It would probably mean that the user isn't active, e.g. they aren't working with the document and are in another tab or something.

If I share the link of a certain file on my Google Drive with someone, can he view all the other files on my Drive too?

Hi there,You can share a file on your by either inviting a specific email ID to access the file or by sending the link to them (using the shareable link option). If you share the file with a specific email ID, only that Google account can access the file. If you share the file with the link, then anyone who has that link can access the file. In both scenarios, other users will only have access to that specific file in your drive - nothing else.Having said this, if you share a folder in your drive, then the users you shared it with will have access to all the files in that drive (including new files that you add to it).In addition to this, you have additional options of setting an expiration date to the permission so the file becomes inaccessible after a while. You can also restrict other users from downloading, editing or making a copy of the files.Hope this helps :)

How to attach pictures on Yahoo Answer?

Some people told me I have to be level 3 to attach hyperlinks. But as I said before, I have already posted some questions with picture links before but I forgot how. (Not through the Photo button). And on google, people said that I need to post the pictures on photobucket or other websites but my previous picture questions did not require me posting them beforehand.

I included some links from my previous questions:

Etc (I have posted some questions with pics from my camera before, but they mostly use the s.yimg links, idk how or why)

And the picture that I want to ask today is from my camera. How do you attach it?
