Is there a word for this?

my dad is from St.Kitts/Nevis, my mom was born in Ethiopia, but her parents were eritrean. Five generations back, I had a grandfather who was part Iranian, so my moms family tends to have lighter skin. So technically, I'm a Kittisian, Ethiopian, Eritrean-American. Is there a name for that? For example, people who are asian and white are sometimes called hapa. What would I be called? Is this considered biracial? Or am a just an African-American?

thnx. much appreciated!!!

Bathmophobia - An abnormal and persistent fear of stairs or steep slopes

Climacophobia - An abnormal and persistent fear of stairs, climbing, or of falling on stairs

Climacophobia is the fear of stairs, fear of climbing stairs and fear of falling down stairs. Climacophobia develops when someone has a bad situation or traumatic event occur in their life involving stairs (i.e., seeing someone fall down stairs, losing ones breathe and passing out before reaching the top of the stairs, seeing someone die from climbing or falling down stairs, etc.). Climacophobia is considered a social phobia because despite the understanding by the individual and reassurance by others that there is no danger of in climbing or falling down the stairs they still panic. However, some might think Climacophobia would be considered a specific phobia because the sight of the stairs could cause someone to panic, but this type of fear is actually called Bathmophobia, which is the fear of stairs, stairways or steep slopes.

Symptoms of Climacophobia?

As with any phobia, the symptoms vary by person depending on their level of fear. The symptoms of Climacophobia typically include extreme anxiety, dread and anything associated with panic such as shortness of breath, rapid breathing, irregular heartbeat, sweating, excessive sweating, nausea, dry mouth, nausea, inability to articulate words or sentences, dry mouth and shaking.

Medicine can be prescribed for Climacophobia. Please note that these medications can have side effects and/or withdrawal systems that can be severe. It is also importation to note that medicines do not cure Climacophobia, at best they only temporarily suppress the systems. However, there are treatments for Climacophobia, which include counseling, hypnotherapy, psychotherapy, and Neuro-Linguistic programming. Please click on the link at the top of the page called “Treatment Information” to find out more information on these types of treatments.

Is there a word that means 'and or or'?

If you mean “and/or or” that translates in logic as AOR OR, maybe it would be called the contingent inclusive or cont-inclusive.If you mean and… or… or it might be an elliptical sentence, abbreviated as 'ellipsis’ or 'ellipse’.Those are my best guesses. If it's both together you have to say something like “an ellipse stated in the manner of a contingent inclusion”.You may even have to clarify and say “...contingent operative inclusion”.Note also that OR OR by itself could mean negation, so AOR OR might just mean OR.It may help to clarify your terms. For example, is this semantics, proof theory, or ontology? They might get different answers dependung on what is serious and how you use the logic. Is the proof important? Is the system important? Is the logic important? Seriously, do you know how to use logic in the context? Those are the questions I would ask.A lot of times you will want to either be more fundamental or more mathematical, and often that means the operator is less i.portant than the proof. There may be other ways to state it, and it may actually be important to be clear. If YOU don't know what you mean, no one else will either. Sage advice.

Is there a word for the voice inside your head?

I was just talking with a friend, and I remembered reading a poem in lit class a long time ago talking about the voice you hear in your head when you read. I could swear there was a fancy word for your reading voice, but I for the life of me can't remember what it was. I have feeling it's a latin word.... I'm not sure, though. AND maybe I'm just remembering it wrong, and there isn't a special word for your head voice... Anyways, it's driving me crazy, and I MUST know! :P
