Is There An Kind Of Animal Hair Clippers That Do Not Make Noise At All

What kind of pet clippers to use on a rabbit?

I would say you have an American Fuzzy Lop...not a Holland lop. I rescued one that sounds EXACTLY like yours :) I used scissors to trim out the mats, and it worked perfectly. I do not use clippers on my Angoras either, I use scissors. I would recommend getting a wire slicker brush to keep the mats out of your rabbits coat. If you want to use clippers, I would recommend calling a groomers and asking them.

Hope this helps !

Can I use hair clipper to shave my cat?

No - do not use a 'clipper' on your cat, this will really scare her.
I have owned a long hair cat for some years now, and make sure she is groomed by me every day in order to avoid any matting of her fur. Would suggest you take the cat to the vets so that they can help you remove the clogged fur. Then, try and get your cat used to being groomed by you regularly.

Hair Clippers sound loud and shaking violently (Power issue)?

So I'm stationed in Japan on base now and I've ordered and used many different US brand hair clippers and trimmers and they all seem to have the same problem: when I turn them on they sound obnoxiously loud and shake at least twice as fast and the blades heat up very quickly.

I'm not sure what the voltage and herts ratings are for on base outlets but thereotically I think its supossed to be the same as the ones in the states (120v, 60h). My Andis T Outliners that I'm using right now have the same power rating.

I don't know if its because the power here might rate at a different level of herts or because the power waves might be differentor what but I can't figure out what to do about it either because they don't sell any kind of eletrical convereres of any kind on base here. Any suggestions?

What are the best dog clippers?? Wahl??, Oster???...HELP..?

Andis are the best for the money! Keep in mind that you will need a GOOD Professional pair, cost over $100, plus you will need at least two #10 blades, at $30 or so each, two #7 Blades, at $30 or so each, scissors, toenail clippers, a slicker brush and a metal Greyhound style comb.
You will need to express your dog's anal glands and trim his nails each time you groom him, or at least every six weeks. You will need to be shown how to hold the blade against him so you don't razor burn him, you'll need to Bathe him and get him completely dry before you take your expensive blades to him, etc...
Still sound easy?

WAHL DELUXE CHROME PRO HAIR CLIPPER?

On one side of the clipper there is a small button which look like a screw. This the adjustment for the blades. Clean the clipper properly, turn it on and tight the screw slowly until it makes that loud noise you are describing then unscrew it until the noise stops. Move the clipper in any direction to make sure the noise doesn't come back. If it stays quite it's properly adjusted.

How do dog grooming clippers differ from human clippers?

They have to be more powerful.Dog fur is tougher than human hair is. This means that dog grooming clippers are designed either with more powerful blade drives, or with faster ones. Most clippers today have switched to fast motors since production has moved to China, because that’s cheaper to do than making a stronger motor. It’s bad for the users because it heats up quickly and wears down faster due to increased friction. In the past, slower and more powerful motors were paired with higher quality steel clipper blades to produce clippers that would run for years without wearing out. They convinced groomers to go with the change by telling them that better RPM made for better clippers, even though a little horsepower would have the same effect on performance without any of the increased wear on the system.A modern groomer’s clipper used every day will fry within 3–5 months and need a new blade drive. As far as I know, the superior quality clippers are not available anywhere anymore.

Which is better/more easily tolerated, traditional dog nail clippers or electric dog nail files? What are the pros and cons to each?

Depends on the dog, and the ability of the person doing the clipping or filing. Some dogs, if you cut the quick to many times, they will resist allowing you to clip them. Then you have a real struggle.Dark colored nails are harder to trim than clear nails where you can see the vein (quick). On light colored nails you can see where to clip without cutting into the quick. I prefer Dremel for dark nails.Using a Dremel tool (grinder) also requires care. Sometimes the dogs don’t like the noise. And, you have to be careful to not leave the tool on the nail on one area to long or it will burn them.My suggestion is to take your dog(s) to a professional groomer and stay there and watch how your dogs react to what they do. You may have to ask if they allow that, if not, find another groomer. After one or a couple of visits you will be able to see how they do it. That being said, I would not chose a place such as such as Petsmart. They have two many trainees, rather than professionals. You want to learn from someone with a lot of experience with all kinds of dogs that can adapt to different dog personalities. There might be even good uTube videos to help if you don’t remember everything.
