Which is the best app to listen to music offline on my android?

Music Player- MP3 Player is the best app to listen to offline on an android device. I have found this app after downloading and trying so many music apps form the play store. But let me tell you that this music player is the best music player I have ever used. The best part of this player is the sound quality it gives to a song. It streams the music in its best streaming frequency.Apart from this, it also has an option to customize the in-app theme according to the user’s mood. You can customize your background theme by any color or can also put an image from your phone gallery in the background of the app. It also has a music hub, which allows you to create a music hub session in which other people can also connect to that session through the option given in the app, and then listen to the same music, played on the host phone, throughout all other connected phones. This last feature is the most amazing feature of the app, and I have personally used it many a time during the unplanned party scenes when I was short of music speakers. You guys can download this app from the given link;Download on Android

What is your favorite bollywood music video and why?

Most of the Bollywood albums are beautifully composed with utmost sincerity, thus making them Chart busters. A film's music becomes a hit when most or all of it's numbers are exceptionally directed by the composer. As it's difficult to pick a single best album, I tried mentioning some of the best among them, which do deserve a place in here! Tamasha : Composed brilliantly by A.R.Rahman and superbly sung by artists like Arijit Singh, Alka Yagnik, Mohit Chauhan and others, this is one of the best albums of Bollywood. Agar Tum Saat Ho by Arijit Singh and Alka Yagnik is a masterpiece. Also hear Matargashti sung by Mohit Chauhan in his silky voice. Heer Toh Badi Sad Hai, Wat Wat, Safar Nama are other melodious songs from this album! Entertainment :The songs in this flick are as entertaining as the name of the film itself. Composed by the talented duo Sachin -Jigar, the album has foot tapping numbers with the singers like Atif Aslam, Anushka Manchanda, Mika, Sachin, Jigar, Priya Saraiya etc, singing to the tunes of the composers. Just listen to these numbers to agree with me : Tera Naam Doon, Johnny Johnny,  Veerey Di Wedding, Teri Mahima Aprampaar.Dilwale : All the songs in this film was a huge hit..and the credit goes to Pritam. Gerua and Janam Janam sung by Arijit Singh and Antara Mitra, Manma emotion jaage re by Anushka Manchanda, Amit Mishra and Antara Mitra, Tukur Tukur from Arijit Singh, Neha Kakkar, Kanika Kapoor, Nakash and Siddharth Mahadevan are excellently composed, sung and choreographed, thus making them a great album!Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna :The music composers Shankar Ehsaan Loy, created magic with this album. Tum hi dekho na sung by Sonu Nigam and Alka Yagnik is soulful. Mitwa is sung by Shankar Mahadevan and Where's the party tonight is a dance number from Shankar Mahadevan, Shaan and others.Dil Hai Ki Maanta Nahin : Popular composer duo of the 90's Nadeem-Shravan composed music for this Mahesh Bhatt's directorial venture. The soothing numbers are sung by Anuradha Paudwal, Kumar Sanu, Babla Mehta among others. These are some of the songs from this album...Dil hai ki manta nahi,  Adayein bhi hai mohabbat bhi hai, Mainu Ishq Da Lagya, Tu pyar hai kisi aur ka!Good luck :) Image Courtesy : www.bollwoodlyrics.com

How did people listen to music and watch movies etc. before the invention of the internet?

I was born in ‘61.As a teen I listened to radio stations like I do Spotify and Apple music and radio stations today. There were two kinds of primarily music playing radio stations back then for people like me:“Top 40” that played the top most popular songs on the charts in heavy rotation.“AOR” (album oriented rock) that played both the current hits of a wide variety of artists and selected cuts from their album releases.I usually ignored “Top 40” stations.Almost all “serious” AOR radio stations had late night or weekly shows where they highlighted new artists, really really rare songs from various artists, or bootleg (illicit) recordings of artists at concert performances and such. You could really hear a good variety of up and coming music that way. Then I would take that knowledge, go to a record store and check out the releases by the artists I had heard of. Music was about the same price as it is now on iTunes adjusted for inflation (or it seemed like it) so I would try to by a new album every week. It’s then take it home and play the crap out of it like I do now on my ipod. After I had a good idea of my favorite tracks, I’d make a 90 minute mix tape on “cassette” (see below) and had a huge collection of them that I’d carry around in my care in a case (see below) to play in my car stereo. For walkaround portability, until I was maybe 23 I only had a radio with headphones until the I bought a Walkman, which was a pretty portable cassette tape player, like a giant ipod (see below). Now I have 8000 + songs on my big 160 gig ipod in my car, and several 16 gig ipod shuffles that I choose from depending on my mood when I’m going to the gym or for a run or whatever.

Why doesn't Pandora play independent music?

That would be why they call themselves "Internet Radio".Pandora is built on top of the "Music Genome Project" which requires that each song played to be listened to and analysed by a real person who is well versed in the more technical aspects of music creation.  Considering that it takes nearly a half hour of a person's day for each song they add to the Pandora playlist, it would be nearly imposable to add every song ever made.  Since they're no doubt in pursuit of a profit, I would assume they put preference on adding songs that they have the capability to sell.Check out the wikipedia article on the Music Genome: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mus...Or my write-up from about a year ago:http://wp.me/pRjkl-nUPDATE: THEY DO PLAY INDEPENDENT MUSICAnd this link will teach you how to submit your favorites:http://blog.pandora.com/faq/cont...

Do albums matter to young music listeners?

Depends. I love plenty of artist and have never listened to a full album. Other I have listen to over and over again When I was younger and you just had a CD, you listened to the entire thing. I know Britney Spears "Baby One more time" by heart- still do. Then came napster. I was down loading EVERYTHING. I couldn't get enough.  And the Mix CD was born. No time to listen you the entire album. You just download 30 songs of stuff you had never heard before! Way to exciting to stop.   If I made a CD of just one artist, I would download around 12  songs - regardless of Album just the fastest downloading speed, make a CD and put it in my car. I actually had MP3 Player from Roxio but it held about 14 songs so you made a mix rather than just an album.  Until, you really liked about 5 songs by the artist did you try and complete the album. Not that I got all my music fore free, I still loved buying CDs. However it was a free way to discocver music you really loved. I saw a the Coldpay music video for "Yellow" on MTV in 1999 and immediately download it and a few other songs. Then went out and about the CD. Listen to it non-stop. Fastward to itunes! Super awesome all my music in one place, but buying an entire album was expensive, and what If you didn't like it. We were so used to getting it ALL for free. So I only bought singles. Now we have Spotify (download now if you don't have it) I can listen to any album in the world. Or just my favorites. Now I can listen to an album in its entirty, star the songs I like and never here the ones I didn't like again. Unless the album as a whole is superb.Black Keys, Phish or MMJ I want to here the entire thing and see where this album is compared to the last, go see them live, discuss with friends etc.  But some bands you find your song, jam to it and never listen to the rest of the album, cause your on to the next band's hit. Recently I have made it a point to listen to the entire album of a band I like. But sometimes, you would rather just shuffle.
