Is there an Xbox 360 dashboard version list with which games that are compatible with them?

It was a second hand Xbox 360. I didn't know that the original dvd drive have been replaced already, and I have no idea where I can get the original dvd key that matches the cpu key. I just consider this Xbox 360, an "old" one which won't be playing the newer 360 games. Much like something between the first gen and the 360 :)

What do the controller icons mean on the Xbox 360 dashboard?

If you go into "new releases" on the dash and scroll past the various titles, you will notice little controller icons at the lower right of each games tab. Some like the "half solid with dotted lines controller" are obvious as indicating demo games, but others like the controller with a "play triangle" symbol or small bullseye circle overlapping the controller are not immediately apparent as to their meaning. Does anyone have a list of what they all stand for?

If I "uninstall all" on an Xbox One game, does it delete my save data, or is it saved in the cloud, ready to reinstall with the game?

Three years into the life cycle of the Xbox One, storage space has become a valuable commodity. The base model’s 500GB drive doesn’t seem quite so spacious when your “Ready to Install” list is packed with AAA games that can take up more than 50GB, and almost double that if you’re downloading 4K-compatible games on an Xbox One X.Unless you’ve invested in an external drive to increase your console’s storage capacity, you’ve probably experienced the feeling that comes when you’re forced to delete one of your games to make room for another. If not, the first time can be a harrowing — and confusing — experience. To help you out, we’ve assembled this handy guide on how to delete and re-install your content. It won’t make picking which games to eradicate from your drive any easier, but it will tell you which buttons to press to do so.Step 1From the Xbox One home screen, press the Xbox button to bring up the dashboard, then select the “My Games & Apps” tile.Step 2Highlight the tile of the game you’d like to remove from your hard drive and press the Menu button on your controller. (That’s the Start button, for most players.)Step 3Select “Manage Game” from the pop-up menu that appears.Step 4The next screen is divided into two parts. On the left, you’ll see each piece of content related to the game in question, listed under “Installed” or “Ready to install.” From the left side of the screen, you can also manage any saved data that exists for the selected game.On the right, you’ll see some details about the game, including its file size and a link to the game’s page in the Xbox Store. You can choose to move the data if you have another storage device connected, copy it, or uninstall it entirely. Choose “Uninstall all,” and the game will be removed from your hard drive.Reinstalling deleted gamesIf you want to re-install a deleted game, head back to the “My Games & Apps” screen. On the left, you should see “Ready to Install (X)”, with “X” signifying the number of games and apps you own that aren’t currently installed on your hard drive. Selecting a game or application will automatically begin the installation process, assuming you have enough space on your console. On the left side of the screen, you’ll also now see a “Games With Gold”…Continue Reading

Xbox One - Black Ops Backward Compatibility?

all features of black ops 1 is available on Xbox One. even any DLC you might have.

the feature of BC on xbox one is bascially a software emulator. it emulates running a xbox 360 inside the xbox one. when you load up 360 games on the xbox one, it will take you through the original 360 start up of loading that system. you can access the old menu from the 360 by pressing both menu and back button on the xbox one together.

since its running 360 software on the xbox one, it doesn't matter which console you play the game on, as it uses the same server for 360. there are no new server for xbox one players. it's one server for both.

and, if you have a 360 still, you can save the campaign progress to the cloud, and able to jump back and forth between consoles.

Does Xbox One have backwards compatibility?

Sort of... Let me explain.Let's get this out of the way first: Xbox One is not backwards compatible with the original Xbox.Xbox 360 backwards compatibility was announced at E3 2015, and it's done via software emulation.Because the Xbox 360 emulator for Xbox One has already been made, TECHNICALLY all Xbox 360 games should be playable on Xbox One. BUT!... (Please keep reading)Microsoft will be the one deciding which games will be playable. They have made the emulator only accept an arbitrary list of games. The first type of games that will be excluded from the list are games that don't perform well on the emulator. Because of this, more graphically demanding games will probably not be compatible.Microsoft has confirmed that they need the publishers' approval to make a game compatible. So basically the publishers are able to deliberately make a game incompatible even if it works well on the emulator. So for example, Tomb Raider for Xbox 360 will likely not be compatible because the publisher may want you to buy the Xbox One version. For all the reasons stated above, it's very likely that only a small selection of Xbox 360 games will be playable on Xbox One.

What do the little grey icons for Xbox 360 "My Games" mean?

Yeah, there's 4 symbols in all.

If the gamepad is half full it is a game demo.
If it's full with no other symbol then it's a downloaded XBox Live Arcade game.
If it's full with a circle symbol then it's a full XBox game that you've installed from disc.
If it's full with a play symbol then it's a full XBox game that you've downloaded.

How do I watch downloaded game trailers on the new Xbox dashboard?

If you have an xbox live gold membership, you can use the bing search... For example, type in pac man in the search box and enter it... A list of anything to do with pac man that is available will appear on your screen and that includes trailers... After you download a trailer, go to my videos and it will be there... If it isn't just go to storage and select my videos but if you download it correctly, you should be able to access the trailer from "my videos" in the dashboard...

General Xbox DLC question?

So I've downloaded something and it says I can find the item in "the corresponding hub of the Xbox Dashboard." I've no idea where that may be, as stupid as that sounds. Can anyone help me out?
