Is There Any Colleges That Offer Corsues For Musical Therapist And Graphic Desginers

Why do so many people major in useless degrees in college?

The following majors are useless and worthless unless you know someone that can pull strings for you:
Fashion, English, Art, Music, History, Art History, Psychology, Chemistry, Philosophy, Political Science, Business, Criminal Justice, Sociology, General Studies, and especially Teaching.

The only majors with which you may find a job are: Engineering, Nursing (if your lucky), something in the health field, or MAYBE Accounting.

In all of the useless majors I mentioned, I can almost guarantee that 95 out of 100 people graduating with a degree in that will end up flipping burgers for a lifetime. The economy sucks, everyone knows that. So why still make STUPID decisions when it involves college? College is EXPENSIVE and involves a lot of dedication and studying. Why would someone major in "Fashion Design" and spend the rest of their life working at Wal Mart paying off student loans??
If you like fashion, cool. Read about it at the library during your free time but in college, it's time to buckle down and major in something useful, it might mean a lot more studying and time spent on school work. But in the long run, the engineering major will be making a fortune and the one that decided to get a doctorial degree in English will be likely collecting food stamps. DON"T LET COLLEGES TRICK YOU INTO MAJORING IN SOMETHING RETARDED!!!!! Do you want to become a teacher?? Well, give that dream up!! In my college, most of my teachers have been ANCIENT and no one will ever let them go or fire them because of their tenure. They will die teaching, while a young college graduate will work at Subway, praying that a teaching position open up.

I need college help or advice! i dont know what to do! :(?

So, I just recently got accepted to community college. I actually didn't want to go but I was pretty much forced to go in the end.

But the problem is, common between many people, I do not know what I want to do.

The thing is I'm an artist person. All I want to do is anything that has to do with art. But unfortunately it seems the whole world wants to tell me I won't get anywhere with that and I need a real career.

So, first I thought I'd be a nurse. But I get nausious or nearly faint at the sight of blood! Or needles..(?)

So that was out of the question.

Then I thought psychologist. That was gonna be my last decision but then again people have to get in my face about it being not a good class to major in for so many reasons.

I know what you're gonna say. I need to make my own decisions. But I don't even want to go to college! I only applied for two personal reasons. So what I want to know is should I choose a class for bachelors degree or a carer focus degree?

And last what career can I study for that will last two years of college instead of four?

Any good recommendations for a career please! As long as it doesn't include this;

-math
-blood

I think I'm good with jobs where I can help people.

And sorry if I sounded a bit dumb lol

I don't know what to do in college?

A leaving cert student confused about what to do with their life. Let's just say you won't be a rarity.

There's no way to know what is the best thing to advise you without knowing your grades, personality, interests etc.

A gap year can be a good idea as long as you have a plan. Sitting at home playing video games isn't an option. Whether you work as an au pair or go to Australia for the year, do something that will help you grow as a person and learn about the world. You may find that the world sucks sometimes but that doesn't mean you go running home to your parents unless there is a psychopath after you in which case asking for help might be the best option.

In fact, I think you have a point. It's a pity that people have to go straight to college from school without nothing in between. It's fine if you know that you have a burning desire to be a doctor but most people haven't anything particular in mind.
