Is There Any Good Methods To Learn Languages Quickly

How do I quickly and efficiently learn a new language?

I speak presently 6 languages: French( Native), English, German, Chinese, Japanese and KoreanLet me tell you briefly how I did that.Put in your head that learning a language is easy, you just need time and patience, that’s allYou can absolutely become as fluent as a Native.Don’t listen to anyone telling you you can’t, most people around you don’t speak more than one language and have some fixed mindset about language learning which prevent them from being open to learning and improving. You are different. You know you can become VERY good if you just trust and do what I will tell you right after.Don’t rely on professors to teach you. A language is a tool of communication. It has to come from you and you have to be proactive to apply what you learn and improve fast.Find the best book to learn the language you target. Just one book is enough. Don’t fall into the “Application” mania. An application or a dictionary is just a tool, a “helper”.Every day, take 30 min to read that book until you finish the book. Go slowly, do all the exercices. When you have some very basics and you know few phrases, find some friend speaking the language and go practice what you learn. Don’t be afraid to fail or to speak incorrectly, no one will laugh about you. Everyone speaks incorrectly before speaking correctly. Just think about babies: If a baby was waiting to have the perfect grammar to start speaking, he would never say a word. Instead, use the “ Fail Fast Forward” approach. Fail quickly, then listen to the correction. Ask others to correct you. Then improve. When you understand few phrases and you feel you are okay to present yourself, start to watch dramas and series in the language you target. My advice is to watch dramas with subtitles in the language of the country language, NOT yours. The purpose is to listen. when you don’t understand, pause and search in the dictionary. make lists of words. If you don’t understand 100%, that’s okay. Try to understand the gestures and you will see that after some time, you will start to understand more and more.Repeat all those steps: Find more books, dramas, friends.Go to the country and study there. Speak with locals, be curious about the culture. With this method, you will be fluent in less than 1 year.Good luck.

What is the best and speedest way or method to learn a LANGUAGE?

to speak in english
first
you need to listen to some

try this-
listen to some music..not the hip hop kinna..just simple music..look over for lyrics after examining them,if understood the correct lyrics then you are pretty good at listening that means you can learn language quicker

try to understand how they pronouce or speak ( but you dont have to becomne a wannabe ofcourse) keep your own accent just following the pronounciation

well..in writing..first select how you want it to be..straight of cursive..if straight buy any book..start learning the alphabet..everyday practice writing it..with PATIENCE and TIME.
if cursive..you gotta get some speacial book that is made to practice ..that will be enough..just make sure you KNOW THE ALPHABETS.

so first thing is listening then writing then speaking
do it step by step
do NOT rush
it wont be the best thing to do
i hope i helped ya and you get better!
takecare!

Which method is best for you to learn a language to quickly reach an intermediate level?

You don’t define exactly what you mean by an intermediate level, but I’m going to assume that you want to achieve that across all four skill areas: listening, speaking, reading and writing. There is overlap between them, but there are unique components to each as well. What works best varies from one person to another, but you have to get practice in each of those areas. I believe there are three categories of “tricks” to speeding up language learning.Practice the skills you are trying to learn. Reading alone doesn’t make you a better speaker. You have to do both. Tie the pieces together so that they reinforce each other.Spaced repetition works. You don’t learn things once. You have to reinforce them to retain the memory. There are tools to help with this, but you can literally do it with flash cards too.Learn to work around what you don’t know and use what you do anyway. Use the words you do know. Put extra effort into learning how to ask questions. What’s the word for X? Does this word mean Y? Am I pronouncing Z correctly? All of these are ways of no longer seeing the task as one huge leap and instead breaking it up. You’ll do better if you get good at breaking it up on your own. Textbooks and courses focus on a generic view of what you might use the language for. If you have a specific interest (say art), learn the vocabulary you need for having conversations about that subject. Build out from what you already know you want to talk about.

What is the best way to learn a language?

I would like to take french courses in university, so I was considering moving to Quebec, which is a french speaking province in Canada so I would have regular contact with french speaking people.
My first language is not english, I moved to Canada when I was young, so I learned it very quickly, also because I am constantly exposed to it.
So will it make it a bit easier for my french, or do I just try and find french speaking people in my area?

What is the best way to learn a language?

I recently caught interest in learning Italian. I am 17 and really really want to learn it. I was wondering the best technique to do so. Like is that rosetta thing any good?

Fastest way to learn a Language?

I'm learning at least eight languages because I'm becoming a translator when I'm older.
You're not mad, I have the same goal as you, lol
I'm already fluent in English and Greek.
And I'm currently learning Spanish and Finnish. (I know the basics for both of those)
But I'm working on becoming fluent in them. After that I'm going to learn French, Italian, and Chinese (You gotta learn Chinese or Russain to become a translator :|)
The way I learned is talking to Finnish people on facebook and going online and reading their grammar rules and basic phrases.
Also if you need to hear them, I recommend youtube.
And there are websites that will teach you for FREE. Just google it.

ALSO DON'T GIVE UP!!! This can be really easy if you really want it!!
I forgot another way to learn is think like a "baby" I know weird right?
Cause when you're a baby you don't understand anything and you learn by hearing and seeing. Well do that with another language. Start going on youtube and watching shows in different languages, listen to their music, set your facebook in another language. And all that jazz.
I recommend no english subtitles. But when you do that it'll give you a head ache

What is the best way to learn a language without immersion?

Anything other than Rosetta Stone will probably work! I say that only partially in jest. Of course, any contact with a new language is beneficial. Certain forms of contact are more effective than others. Rosetta Stone can be a very good introduction to a language. The one huge downside is its cost. If you calculate price per phrase that you would learn, then Rosetta Stone is more expensive than the street price for cocaine! Contact with native speakers is actually not very productive at the introductory level. Firstly, native speakers did not actively learn their own language as an adult, hence it is difficult for them to understand the mindset of a beginning language learner. Despite the much hyped idea of children learning languages better, it is absolutely untrue. I learned French to a C2 level in 2 and a half years. Many others have done the same even faster. I would love to see any child achieve the same feat! Hence, straight immersion, like a child learns their native tongue, is not a very good solution for those wanting to quickly and efficiently. Secondly, contact with native speakers at the beginning often forces one to revert to the lowest common denominator language, which is usually English. You don't need to learn English! You want to learn another language! Hence, you waste a lot of time thinking that activity equals work, to quote Ernest Hemingway. The best way to learn a language is consistent exposure to the language at an ever increasing level of complexity so that you can learn to mimic a native speaker little by little. Hence, you want audio material and bilingual texts so that you can expose yourself to a new language using your mother tongue as a reference point. Assimil is really great serious to do this with. The method is important as well. However, that would take some more time to explain. There are numerous people on the online community that has done a lot of self experimentation and been very successful. Check out the following:
