I’m not gonna sugar coat it and say it is not. But I’m gonna say it’s challenging.Models start from an early age because youth does give them, in most cases, more naive looks and better skins to work with. It also gives them the time to build networks which takes years to build. So for example, if they start at 16, by the time they are 21, they’ll have had 5 years of networking, portfolio, publication, etc., which is the advantage of time. (Some of them also burn bridges because of not knowing better, which is the downside)That is not to say you cannot start modeling at 32, nor to say you won’t be successful, but you’ll need to work harder to find your niche, and also accelerate your networking process.
